The last thing the industry needs is another console. Developer time money and sales are already spread so thin this generation that too many companies have had to close down, one more console will just spread the industry thinner.
People WILL buy it, therefore if a developer doesn't port their game to it they will lose out on sales they would have otherwise had if there were less consoles for people to own.
My comment may seem anti-consumer, but in the e...
GTAV and MGS Ground Zeroes.
^^ Right now I couldn't care less about "next-gen".
I've had 2 PS3s that have failed on me before. First was the YLOD, the other was the GLOD (no sound, no piture, no controller sync)... both times has been playing COD games.
So GTA V is being held back by the people that didn't finish GTA IV?
They didn't finish it because it was the same boring missions from start to finish, not because it was long!
San Andreas was a lot longer, and that's the sort of length I was hoping for!
I'm going to play this game to the death when it comes out, I don't want it to be over in 2 or 3 sessions :(
@Jinkies
Go back and watch the GTAIV trailers, they don't show much. Gives you an idea of the graphical improvements and story, but nothing really about the content.
GTAV is showing us so much content already. I'm excited to do the things in see in the trailer, and to go to the places we've been shown. The content in the GTAV trailers warrant all this hype, GTAIV's trailers did not.
They've been aware for the past 5 years.
IT LOOKS SOOOOO GOOD!
He also wrote a counter article '5 reasons GTAV looks amazing'. Take the good with the bad you blindsided fanbot chumps.
This is my most anticipated game since MGS4, I'm on here every day scrounging for more GTAV news, but I still read these articles with a level head and a fair eye. You people will hear no wrong about this game, you remind me of the fucking audience on xfactor, one slightly negative remark, no matter how valid the point, and "BOOOOO" , ...
Once you do it 4 or 5 times you'll probably realise that each of them only do a couple of pre-determined things in the same places.
THIS^^ is what people should be asking!
Having 3 DLC sized games would be terrible. You can't have 3 beginnings, 3 middles and 3 ends in a game that has always been about advancing your character (or 'you') to bigger more badass things, getting more money, guns, girls, property... lung capacity! etc. You can't just drop all that and start working on another character (twice). That would probably also render the idea of fresh stories via DLC useless, as people will just see the whole game as a big DLC pack.
...
please noooooo. immersion ruined if so
Cry Hard: Cry Harder
First of all, R* owe you nothing, it is their game do advertise and discuss as they please. They haven't given any dates for trailers or press releases to the public that they haven't stuck to, so get over it.
Secondly, their marketing (or lack thereof) is genius. Only R* could release a single trailer and have an entire year's worth of hype and hopes manifest, and rumours are in the news every week.
And lastl...
You know this how?
7 people in the queue? Sounds like your game store is doing quite well for itself.
Confirmed as fake. Thank god!
I really would prefer playing as 1 character. And I have been looking forward to pumping some iron in that outdoor gym since I saw the trailer lol
Without getting into an argument over details, the bottom line for me personally is, I prefer the old store.
I was very surprised when the revamp was announced because there was no indication that a new store was even nessecary, to me it was fine how it was.
$1
Now, if anyone wants to go research and find out much Sony is actually worth?
You won't believe how many zeros you'll have to put next to that $1.
This won't happen, battery life/power simply won't allow it.
Plus, I'm sure as soon as the gimicky aspect of it wears off, people will be tired of getting sweaty hands and turn the feature off.
Retailers DO NOT confirm/decide release dates. Retailers DO what they are told. Publishers are the ones who decide and confirm release dates. Until R* or Take Two tell us... disregard it.
N4G would be a lot tidier
