Tomb Raider is a reboot done well, and would like to see how the series goes on...
DmC is a reboot from hell, and would like it die as soon as possible...
Capcom are so full of $#!*
1) Sales are less than DMC4 by a long stretch
2) game sales were revised twice
3) Capcom WISHED and EXPECTED this game to sell 5 million based of DMC4 selling 2.5m and hopefully doubling up on the figure
4) Capcom blames excessive outsourcing for piss poor sales and quality of games, puts numerous games on hold/cancelled, and wants to shift games back into in house development.

I loved this game, and while its a different approach to the old Tomb Raiders, It certainly can lead Lara Croft into a badass character in latter titles. I would say this is a much better reboot to that of what DmC was as a reboot.
Stupid move to make this DLC, that DmC ending was beyond $#1T, this should have been with the game, the ending to this was actually plausable.
That CPU + the 2x graphics cards would set you back £1700 alone. A basic 480GTX + i5 processor can max out 99% of the games out today, why the hell would I spend £1700 to run just this 1 game? I am sure there are plenty of alternative cards and options to play this game on a PC when its out, so yes, ultimately, £1700 on a single game where most games dont even require half that power is a complete overkill and a waste of money, and this is someone who enjoys PC games.
People banging on about PC version already? Not to brag but Dark Souls on PC looked awful on PC, and required a bloody mod to make the game much better looking, something FromSoftware couldnt even sort out themselves.
On a side note, this game does look great, surely will be getting it =)
Why not try and do what Bioshock did, and have a frame lock, which can be disabled for higher frame rate? I would prefer a 60FPS game but no its not a deal breaker, so long as the game is great.

Stupid not to add this to the final game, by far, DmC had the worst ending in such game. Already seen the ending to the expansion, its all on youtube if you want to see it.
These topics are getting boring. Honestly, these authors of these articles need to really browse some forums to understand why this game has love hate relationship with fans, its been there since the first announcement at TGS.

So, lets do the maths here. 28 members signed the "petition". Potential 2,000,000 sales of the game (a mix of fans new and old and people who were curiously optimistic about the game), that doesnt even equate to 0.01% of a crowd, yet, you got people making articles of this rubbish? Not even that, the fact this petition got 28 signitures means it requires an article about it? Every level of pointlessness. If this is the best DmC fanboys can do, then lets point out that:
10/10 Story? You having a laugh? DmC story was ok but not 10/10 good. Not to mention the obvious plot hole in this game. Mundus didnt even know Sparda had 2 twins, even though his minions + Mundus ripped his house apart with paintings that BLATANTLY show 2 kids. There are many more that have been pointed out on the IGN Forum, but this is no 10/10 on story, 7/10 at best, and thats been generous.

Did people forget what both NT and Capcom said in 2010?
1) NT at TGS said "there are things in previous DMCs that were only possible in the cutscenes but not in gameplay, we wanted to change that"
2) Capcom expects 5 million sales on this title.
3) Game was going to be 15+ hours, ended up being half that on initial play through.

The game is good, however its not something i would happily replace with the current DMC. Dmc5 has alot of potential and capcom can do amazingly well if done right.
I know some asswipes are just going to hit dislikes and subject the whole topic about deh hair, they need to get their head out their ass. both extreme fans from both sides need to grow the eff up.

The game does deserve a 7/10 to be fair. It is a good action game to say the least, its just not a devil may cry game.
