You can be as bitter as you want to Xbox 360 users but I'm playing great games now on DVD9.. So you can talk out-dated format all you want but when a game like Bioshock gets a 9's and 10's and LAIR gets 5 and 7's I think the whole format argument goes out the window. Just give me good games.

With Media Center I've been watching and recording TV since launch.

has my full attention at TGS! I've been watching this game since it was first announce for multiple platforms and then they dropped the 360 and focused on the PS3. I think this will be a game that shows that it cannot be done on any other platform due to Blu-ray it's like movie/game hybrid or something. There engine looks to be fantastic!

If you can play all these games on other platforms? I would never buy a 360 when I can play the games I like on an existing system I already own. Seems like if I have a PC and DS I'm not missing anything the 360 has to offer..
It sounds like this Viva is going to have more features so why buy a $400 console to play an inferior version of the game. This will make MS some quick cash by exploiting the DS fanbase but it's going to do nothing for it's own platform.
had supply constraints that effected it's first 6 months of sales. People were camped out all the time trying to get one. The PS3 I was able to find everywhere and even on launch day.

Solves a lot of space issues. I find it funny how people don't even know how big an actaul game is but can state that it wouldn't fit on DVD9, it's all pure speculation. The only thing we have is a comment from Rockstar and Bizarre and appearently both have over come them.
They said those were just over the top placeholders they had in the game and most of it will be removed in retail. But knowing Bungies sense of humor, some of it will make it into the game.
This rumor needs to die.. I think all parties involved have basically denied it on every level. I think even if it was ported at a later date nobody would buy it.. All MGS ports that have come out later have flopped.

You are correct Lightening they do have games that require the HDD but the dev's have to consider all the people who can't play the game and that's lost revenue. Now that problem will begin to fade with the elimnation of the core. This will motivate those core user's to get an HDD. I would hope that they aren't going to hold up the platform for the people who bought the Core. MS would rather them have HDD's anyway so they can use the download service more. Maybe they will drop the price ...
