Because it's not even out yet.. I hope you aren't comparing some buggy PC version and telling everyone the Xbox version is the same. PC's have a million times more potential for problems then the console version.. Just look at Bioshock..

I do however agree with #3 and #5. But MS is in a business to MAKE MONEY, if the market will bear a price point that is what they will charge. It happens in all business!

Owning both is the best, but I have a tough sell when I mention the price of the PS3. When the strongest title on PS3 is RFOM it's an even tougher sell, it is too hardcore. I can show them Viva Pinata on the 360 and it's like "I could definately play this with my kids" kind of reaction.

The reviews for the PS3 upcoming line-up are all over the place. It's making me very cautious about dropping $60 on a 50/50 might suck/might be good games.

Something has changed on this site and now it's buggy as hell.
I seem to have this problem in IE6 but when I try on another computer with IE7 it's fine.
The PS3 is still beating the 360 in most of Europe and most definately in Japan. Also, the 360 got beat in Canada in July and them Canadians love them some games..
Those regions could give the PS3 the boost it needs to close the gap.
Going to be interesting the next 6 to 9 months.
Props to Lorenzferus for the PM and breaking down the numbers to me.. It does seem that Sony's price drop didn't actually kick in on July 1 so you do need to cut them some slack.. I'm defintately not going to underestimate Sony and they do have the numbers in most of Europe and Japan.. Enough to fill the difference between the 360? I'm not sure.
