I've haven't noticed any texture pop-ups in the game on 360.. I will have to go back and see if I missed them. You mention it gets worse as the game progress's maybe you need to clear your cache or you got a bum system?
I've played the game thru twice now.
do we have to guess?? I really hate how MS throws these updates out without any information. I will be sure to keep my console off of Live until I know what they are doing. I don't let some stranger sit down at my computer and start moving and copying files unless I know what the hell they are doing.

That's what most of these comments here sound like. I will remember that each and every time any Sony or Nintendo employee speaks on anything related to videogames.
He also said "in the long term" and I agree with him. Motion sensing was a fad at one time and Nintendo did not invent it! If you really think waving your hand around is going to have more of an impact than online gaming than we disagree.

but I disagree that Sony stole the show at E3. Depends on who you ask, but I think both Sony and MS did equally as well. If anything "stole the show" it was Call of Duty 4.
btw - Sony was the only company that did a keynote, MS and Nintendo were both on the downlow. I expect a better showing from both at TGS. Microsoft has basically said nothing about 08 and you can bet they have some huge surprises in store.

Never had a problem with either. Not that I don't think the 360 has hardware problems that are being fixed, but when I read comments like this they make me laugh because you think every person who owns a 360 has RROD. You are actually so pityful you create your whole identity around it.
I'm still playing the exact same hardware I bought on launch day and it doesn't feel like a beta.

In addition to your thoughts, I don't see why people keep saying it's much the same.
It's a 3rd part in a trilogy so it's a new single player campaign that concludes the story, 4 Player Co-Op, new MP Maps, map editor, new weapons and defense systems, new vehicles. Looks like I will be passing on this game then. If they can't get the graphics beyond "PS2" then they obviously aren't taking the time needed to make a game right on the 360.
