I'm getting more and more interested in Uncharted 2 every time I see something about it. Its one of the few games that really interests me on the PS3.
Good job on the list, you're right on the money. And it does seem like games were tougher and slightly more unfair back in the SNES days. I remember beating turtles in time on medium and Splinter told me to play it again on hard difficulty. What a jip!
hahaha, good read. Totally true on the ground pounding enemy and experience builders.
Lame IMO, Timesplitters was good fun. Its so sad to hear about a franchise that just stops, I always thought the timesplitters game were decent. Not as good as shooters like Half Life, but it was still lots of fun. Hell, I may go to gamestop and re-buy a copy.
Good job guys, pretty sweet if I may say so myself
Oh man, Super Mario 3 was so tough!! Level 8 just seemed so unfair in so many ways.
Interesting read, wish I could have gone.
Looks ok, and I was getting a bit bored of how Splinter Cell was going. So I welcome this change for sure. Plus, Sam Fisher is cool no matter what he does.
Hmmm, Daft Punk might be worth checking this game out alone. But $120? I'm iffy on that one.
I'm not a big fan of Tekken, I'm more of a Soul Calibur fan myself. Well written tho, informative
Oh cool, groovy article. Wish I lived in Japan
It would definitely be nice to get some of that stuff when you buy a console. And games that come with the console arent always bad, Super Mario came with the NES, and Wii sports came with the Wii. Hmmm, maybe Nintendo has the right idea...
Either way, it would be cool to get a good game with a console.
EvilTwin hit nail on the head. Nintendo is known for its first party releases and innovation. Graphics aren't the end all be all aspect of games, its playability. And guess who has the largest selling games of all time? Nintendo with Wii sports and Mario Bros. 3 (somewhere in there is GTA 3, which is 3rd party)
Nintendo knows gamers, and they know that with titles like Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Pikmin: people will buy their machines. And the Wii is a very fun system to own and its rea...
cool list, Little Big Planet's user creation mode is awesome, it really makes me consider buying a PS3.
I'm conflicted. I write for G3, but I'm also a journalist and I know about ethics.
This sort of situation is tricky, but its pretty clear: the review should not have gone up. Its part of the ethics that go along with being a journalist to follow release dates and to not release news early for a piece of entertainment that has not been released yet. Especially since the reviewer got a hold of a copy early, that puts him in a tough situation. However, microsoft should be getting even with...
Hmmmmm, I'll put this on my maybe list. I'll probably give it a rent. Looks ok anway
Whoa, I walked into a hater fest.
But other than that- sweet, thats a lot of rockets.
I must play this game on my own first so that I could decide on "throwing stones". But Bungie has been good to us so far.
Cool man, groovy article. Even though I dont play too many import Japanese games
Hmmm, good points on the review, I need to check this out. I'll probably rent it, since an 8-10 hour games doesn't seem like its worth $60.
