haha good stuff, you should read my arcade flashback articles, they're similar to your style.
Good stuff, and good jorb.
I'm on board. Unless they get too much into windwaker style, i thought it was too childish as times...much like everyone else thinks too.
I remember the good old days of playing Hydro thunder at the local arcade as well as playing the dreamcast version and man what a good time that was...this one looks awesome too and it looks to be an enjoyable game
Hmmm interesting stuff. But I think the idea of public requests can be annoying since catering to the will of the masses is always a stretch. Artists and game creators should be willing to listen and take criticism, but bending over backwards is not something that should be tolerated.
there were a lot of problems with the game, but I cannot say it was boring. Seeing someone get a spear stuck in their head is always funny in video games
same here man, the game sounded cool until it reminded my too much of Bioshock and timeshift having a baby and Singularity was the outcome.
I guess it still seems interesting, but it would have to be outstanding to stand up to other games in the genre.
I'd say a rental is in the future for me on this one, but purchase is a little too steep
Thank you for that Mike, I'll make note of it for future articles.
However, have you played Fat princess?
Thats really what the article is about and I'd like to know what you thought of it. I mean, a game that involves feeding someone cake sounds like a damn good time to me.
Anyways, now since thats out of the way; what do you think of the game?
i disagree with your statement that Majora's mask is better than Ocarina of Time, but I think you argue your point pretty well. There will be differences of opinions on favorite games, especially since Ocarina of Time is widely considered the best game of ALL TIME. So i'd imagine that people can and will disagree with that opinion.
However, the evolution of gaming can be seen in OoT, and thats usually why its considered a legend of gaming.
keep up the good work btw
Why cant this damn game get here already?! I've been dying for my fix!
Yes yes a million times YES! How can I live without Silent Hill 2 or 3 on next gen systems?!>? Those games are more than enough to ask for backwards compatability.
HMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm i'll have to check this one out. Online war correspondent seems cool enough
haha interesting stuff. but yes, i want carmine to die in Gears 3
sweet! beta key here I come!
same here, over head RPGs are aces in my book. I'll give this one a look
it looks great, but the premise seems outdated and overused. Also; no online play? What is this the 80's?! Having no online play is like setting your game up to be dead in the water. The possibilities of fun now seem minuscule since a fighting games are better with another person. A 6 out of 10 seems like a decent score with a game that has so many flaws.
Good article btw.
Hmmmmm, yeah 15 for an arcade game is a bit much for me right now. But a decent score is worth looking into. I havent played much on the XBL arcade either so maybe this would be good enough to warrant a purchase.
Haha i couldn't put put a price tag on my SNES or N64 either man. I might not have as many games, but I dont i could ever stand to part with it. I mean, those systems gave me hours of entertainment (and the n64 still does too, since I have a yearly play-through with Ocarina of Time) and I dont think i could part with them at all.
thanks for you input and for not bashing me. However, direct references are great and all, but I'm simply putting forward the influences that the movie Blade Runner gave video games. If I wanted to do straight references I could have said Snatcher or hell, even the blade runner game.
But this is about INFLUENCE. Where small ideas from blade runner come into play because of Ridley Scott's view of the book (albeit I will agree it heavily brought down the messages and ideas that t...
haha good stuff, check out my work too!
THERE WAS A VIDEO GAME TO THIS BOMB OF A MOVIE?!?!?! What a waste.
