Let's be honest, people who know who David Cage is, also know about this game and whether they'll buy it or not. It serves no purpose to have that in the box art, while Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe are two names people know from other media and might sway them to pick this game even if they don't know about it.
The last 2, really? 3 and 4 are even more ridiculous, they don't have a legion of games and they remain fresh and with new ideas every iteration.
@sGIBMBR you must either be retarded or have fanboy shades so thick that you can't even distinguish "xbox" from "xbox360".
It's just wrong. Wii was equivalent to xbox in specs, so it was 1 full generation behind. Now Wii U is equivalent to the PS3 in specs and it's the exact same situation. Once we are 1-2 years into the next gen, Wii U will once again be left behind.
DmC is significantly better than MGR tho.
I'll take a wild guess that you did not play the game yet.
The points he makes are valid. Devil May Cry, God of War and Bayonetta are challenging, but the dedicated dodge button they have is what makes it possible for you to take big groups of enemies.
MGS:R has no dodge, and the parry is on the same button as attack, so it's very hard to attack and time your parrys at the same time, especially when some attacks come from outside your vision, because ...
Agree with #1 #2 and #10 and that's it really.
No Resonance of Fate? Dark Souls but no Demon's Souls? such a random list
Developer list looks pretty crappy.
Mojang n2 releasing only one broken brilliant game. No matter how good it is, it's still damn broken, so from a developer mechanical standpoint, it's awful.
Riot games high on list too with a single game as well. Santa Monica Studios developped 3 of the best games ever made and is bellow 40.
Naughty Dog should be #2 as well.
If it comes at a reasonable cost, I think they should include 4k output on the console, but they shouldn't encourage their first party developers to develop games at 4k. We want 1080p60 not 4k30 with fps drops and screen tearing.
Planing ahead for the future is great, but if games try to go 4k route, it's rushing to the future and will have ugly results.
Hope Ubi manages to get Saints Row, It would be a disaster if it went to EA.
@hellvaguy
I think he means THIS x360 MGS4:

@black911, it's important to note that the 45 million xbox live users refers to gold memberships, and ignores silver, so that doesn't mean theres less than 45M consoles active.
However, it isn't a stretch to say that there are a lot more active PS3's compared to X360's, considering the massive difference in failure rate and the tiny difference in sales.
Not really. It's the end of the generation, people don't want to buy a new console now when theres rumours of new releases next year. Handheld should've increased with vita tho, but for some reason the best handheld ever made is also the least popular :(
I liked FF13, FF13-2 and I think this looks even better :(
-Vice City
-San Andreas
-GTA III
-GTA II
-GTA London
-GTA IV
This is my preference. Only played these, never played the original or the mobile versions, so only these included in list.
GTA4 was bad enough for me that I never finished it, despite playing it for about 20 hours twice, 3 years apart.
X360 doesn't really have any exclusive at all worth trading with MGS4
Console has no online features without that patch. It's pretty mandatory even for casuals.
@izumo, the update was predetermined, it installs access to nintendo network.
Probably the system's operating system was not ready when the console went into mass production so they left it to update day 1.
So what? If the console becomes unusable if you shut it down during the update it's fucking retardedly engineered. It's never good to shut down during updates, but it's not 100% avoidable, anything from a power outage, to internet outage or download stalling at a certain % can force you to do so. Specially if the update is freakin 5GB :X
Playstation also tells you not to shutdown during firmware update, but if you do, it retries after you restart, and if all else ...
15 exclusives sounds like a lot but it really isn't. This isn't 15 AAA boxed titles, just 15 exclusives. Sony has had more than 30 exclusives every year for the past 3. Hell, X360 had more than 15 exclusives in 2011, and it was an awful year for them. It's a very unimpressive number.
