That's what I liked about Rise of A Ninja on the 360. It was more fun to actually travel to your destination instead of being instantly transported there IMO.

I know very well that this case can (and probably will) be won by the plantiffs. That's basically my point, that this ranks up there with a frivilous lawsuit and that no one was 'injured' in their decision to purchase a PS3. It's just filed by people looking to get something for nothing.
Look at the GTA 'hot coffee' lawsuit which was bought about by people who were 'offended' that their little kids were playing a mature game with hidden anima...
Sounds like excuses to me. Give gamers some credit, okay? Maybe they just didnt want to pick it up. Sure, many are just kids and can afford to only pick up one game at a time but a lot of gamers have full time jobs and can afford to pick up multiple games...they just didn't want to pick up this one.
I liked Prototype too. It made me feel really powerful, but not a super'hero'.
The thing is that users' didn't have to apply the firmware if they were more interested in using the OtherOs feature. No one was 'denied' the ability to use OtherOS (unless you bought the slim). I can't honestly see anyone using the PS3 instead of an actual PC for Linux applications. Sure, it's nice to have it all in one but the PS3 is a gaming machine first and foremost (at least to me). Bottom line is that OtherOS was just 'gravy' as in extra, not an essenti...
It was legal for Sony to remove that feature or any other feature they want. It sucks but its true. Anyway, I wonder how many people who are part of this class action actually used the OtherOS feature?
