So I guess someone isn't pulling their weight out there!
mind you, this is a HD-DVD promotional group...so they would say that wouldn't they.
It has many Birthday.
They want to know if people don't have a PS3, then they can find out the reasons why?
That way they can make a product that they they do want.
So where was the question asking do you own a Xbox 360?
I'd say the Wii is more suited for their style of games anyway.
its nothng to do with the game....just crappy Orange and their servie provider. Grrrrrrrr.
Ya pay extra to get 8MB Broadband, and they can't even supply the 1MB that they give away. I HATE THEM!
Bioshock was the only reason I brought a 360.
Oh well, at lest I can play Mass Effect when it comes out, otherwise the Xbox would be collecting dust.
All the other game including the cross platform ones I get for the PS3 because its a nicer system to run. So I hope MS wasn't hoping that as soon as I got their system I was suddening going to get all my game from them...I only use it for their exclusives.
Also, they can only pull this trick once. From now on when ever an ex...
What? our display 360s are broken....no worries mate, she'll be right!
PS3 has been out only a year so there isn't as much software as there is for 360, plus 360 has a larger user base so these stats are really not a surprise at all.
EA make crap games anyway...or at lest the same game over and over.
Maybe we should blame the 360 users for giving them so much money so that they end up buying out all the other companys so that we're all stuck with them.
Normal DVD disk do work in the Blueray player or PS3 drive.
it even upscales it abit to improve the picture if your using an HD TV.
Someone disagreed with your disagreeing about their disagree!
and in HD for your viewing pleasure!
plus not everyone who owns a PS3 or Blueray play wants this film.
I watch it was it was in the theatre and didn't like it at all.
But I am glad its doing well as i want BlueRay to win.
with layering, and for a HD-DVD or BD player to read this, it needs the latest laser. Firmware updates will not help.
But in the area of films and movies which is the main thing these players are used for, it will always be the same amount of data for a HD film, so there will be no need to use the bigger disks for movie sales. So in the area of home entertainment players, its really besides the point.
The extra that the firmware updates give like picture in picture are nice, but...
So of course the games will be exactly the same if the Dev are doing their job right. there no benefit to adding extra features in unless either sony or MS pay them to do it.
So you can't really use this to ssy "hay such and such is better than whats it".
The only time either system is truly going to show what it can do is through exclusives.
It means i don't have to waste 25 minutes of my life listening to this dribble. We get enough of that in the comments of this site.
its a shame that someone who calls him self a professional can't view these thing objectively.
Maybe it just shows M$ attitude to the industry these days.
Its nice to have a company that is willing to let the consumer choose what they want for a change.
rather that companies paying each other off to push their product so that the crappest one wins.
Now I'm backing Blueray, but even I can tell that the $500 amount loss seems a bit high. Have you ever known a company to spend that much on parts? Even a PS3 does not cost that much to produce.
I'm sure they are losing a lot of money on these $99 players, but not that much.
for painting that wonderful image in my head.
And is one on the main things that puts it ahead of the other consoles.
If you didn't make it standard that programmers are forced to program from normal DVD disk as they have to make their software for the lowest dinominator in order for the game to run on all PS3s.
So if some people don't have BlueRay...then no one will have blueray.
You might be able to get away with normal DVD disks for games these days, but give it a year or so and it will be a different story.
Well let us look at this then.
The people who made gears of war say their next game UT3 looks even better and is running well on PS3. So we'll see how that is when it comes out.
COD4 is the same on both systems, I don’t think the people making it would go through the trouble of remaking the models for the PS3 version like your claiming...I would love to see a screen shot of this if you've got one.
Mass effect isn't out yet, I'll be getting it when it does...but the graph...
