And look what a let down that was.
Europe PS3 will pull ahead and japan it will be PS3 way ahead of 360.
But Wii will kick everyones butt because parents would rather have their kids moving round in front of the screen and the Wii is marketed more towards them where Xbox is after the gamer market.
You have to download it from a browser and then move the file across.
And then every time you end the program it restarts your system.
I think i'll be sticking to Folding at home.
Plus I'm not sure what this is trying to calculate?
It looks to be the same thing as folding@home anyway unless I read it wrong. It would be a shame to split the processing power just to be calculating the same thing in two different places.
However i never have the news tag thing running, and so far I just had the game freeze up on me once and that was after a hugh fight and half the city running after me.
.
otherwise i never will.
Downlaodable content should over take the HD disks is sales (if HD ever over takes DVD) in about 10 years.
This is when they expect good enough network and braodband tech to handle everyone downloading all the time.
Of course when companies like MS go making comments like this, their somewhat shooting them self in the foot.
If I want to watch movies like how their saying, I'd get pay-per-view TV.
This is the only service I expect would be effected by this.
don't have a 360.
If the games look attactive enough and the system does more things, then these people will be more willing to coming over a get a PS3 except for the tru die hard 360 fan of course who would rather die than enjoy what Sony have to offer.
Luckly most normal people just know what they like and get it.
Little Big Planet
Gran Turismo 5
Devil May Cry 4
Grand Theft Auto 4
Killzone 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Final Fantasy 13
God Of War 3
Unreal Tournament 3
Now this is just to my tastes, but there is stuff there for everyone.
For my 360 I'm only planning on Mass Effect. Any other game I might only get if its a quite month.
If its the CD, make sure its not just dust on the disk.
The game can freeze up at some points when your getting chased by half the guards in the city.
The controls are mixed...sometimes their great....starting with very basic controls like how Skerj said. But other time they can be frustrating when you try to climb a tower and you try to jump up to the next part and the next thing you know you've run half way up the wall and then jumped backward to plummet to your death.
Also when being chased its very easy to find your self grabbing...
You start off with Uncharted coming to 360 and then say Sony droids...what exactly were you expecting to happen?
You really need to read the articales you post before you post them.
I'd consider my self leaning more to the PS3 side despite have a 360 as well, but I'd totally disassociate myself from Kingdrama.
He's just a $h1t stirrer.
And what is up with everyone getting so hyper about this, it just a little fun!
You do remember how to have fun don't you?
I thought it was the whole purpose of game consoles was to enjoy your self.
Thank you for your support, now bend over because we're about to screw you.
The research in to creating multi layer disks, you have to refine the laser to read through the other layers.
If it were as easy as changing the software, I'm sure they would have done that by now.
Its a hardware issue that they have to over come in order to do this.
You might be able to get away with 2nd layer with a firmware upgrade, but anything more I'd expect you have to get a better laser, so I don't think those $99 HD-DVD players would be up to the job if their so ...
.
Ah...those were the days.
