Whats the latest word on HDR for PCs these days?
There was a bit of rubberbanding when 1.0 came out on Steam, but that seems to be sorted now.
Sounds like a nice idea.
Personally I think it was Overwatch which shot down Lawbreakers.
It already had the multiplayer team shooter wrapped up just before Lawbreakers came out.
It also has more character that Lawbreakers which looked more generic in comparison.
I would be happy to throw my hat in and do that (removing the spam comments).
It should only be accounts that have been on here for years.
It's the black hole of IPs, never to escape.
It sounds to me like some Analysts are just yes men hoping to get in the good books of these companies.
Keep telling them what they want to hear and then they will keep coming back for their services...as if they actually do anything. I'm assuming someone has to pay these analysts to spout this dribble.
EAs focus is purely on how to milk more money from customers after they have purchased the game.
They can only do that with microtransactions through online play.
Their not interested in making extra content like missions or expansions to single player games, because it cost too much money to make compared to adding a skin or changing the colour of something and sucking people into buying that.
Like a Tesco Turkey.
Of course it is.
Bit harsh.
Why?
To each their own.
Most people seemed to have enjoyed it including myself.
I enjoyed the game play and the story, kept me in till the very end.
That's one thing Games have over Movies is the pacing.
You can't make a relationship develop like that in a 2 hour time frame with the same effect.
EA are getting the hate because we tell them what we want, but their more interested in what their market analysis say about what tactics they can use to squeeze more money out of the customer after the sale has been done.
We want different experiences, and EA keep telling us we only want to play multi player games which is covenant for pushing their micro transactions.
That would mess up the game if some people parachuted in with a vest or helmet.
4-5 years is pretty standard for most companies that aren't under EA or Activision.
It's his own company now, so I'm sure he's feeling more of the pressure about budget and deadlines than he did before.
At least now he will have full artistic freedom.
It would be a sad day when man thinks they know everything and then stops research.
Plus the skin is a bit glossy on the 3D model.
