Everything has sold less than what was expected. Especially in the holiday months, growth has been flat for the past 2 1/2 years (in NA).
How many does it take precisely? A lot more than one game.

It's the flattening of revenue and lack of growth for the past few years, that's the disconcerting thing. Call of Duty, TF2 and Ezio Collection falling well below estimates isnt a crash either.
One game doesn't negate an overall trend Jesus jumping Christ.
This site's a fountain of Nintendo negativity...Unless they went Sony multiplatform.
Yeah imagine smash bros with Killzone guy, Kratos and Polygon Head ohhh yay.
It's hilarious you would label Sony as the place to go.
People don't like to have fun.
I'm not saying it will succeed, I'm just not willing to poo poo on it in the hopes they will just go multiplatform like some. For me I'm excited to see Nintendo's Handheld and console devs all working on one device, imagine no more software split between home and handheld?
"People are responding negatively" on here, on the Weaboo's internet turf. Gaf, N4G etc aren't representations of t...
@Colonel179
Twilight Princess came out, you already killed the beautiful Windwaker dream.
I'm always willing to give Nintendo's hardware and games a shake. It's just kind of Naive to say that their failings can be put entirely at the feet of the fans.
The Nintendo 64 was technically far more capable than the PS1, the PS1 won. The GameCube technically ran rings around the PS2 and yet it didn't even matter, software and hardware all sold better on the PS2. It's not related but the original Xbox ran everything at 480p(the PS2 did not) and some t...
Depends on the game, I get 120fps out of CSGO with a 1070 at 4k. The only games that really give me trouble are TW: Attila and Warhammer.
It's a sports game, TLOU and Uncharted aren't even close to the release cadence of Halo or Gears. C'mon man.
A lot happens when a game gets developed. A proof of concept demo or pre rendered video being received well doesn't necessarily equate to a game game being good.
@uth11
It all depends on refresh rate, resolution and detail settings people are using. If you're gaming at 1080 sure, but anything more demanding than that even a 1080/144hz monitor requires a bit more than a 1050TI or 1060. For most people I don't recommend going higher than the mid tier, but there are definitely use cases for the higher end cards. PC parts aren't a one size fits all proposition.
How well did Mirage Sessions #FE do? That's the only number that matters, also with the Switch being an ARM machine the port process isn't likely to be super simple. I could see P4 Golden being a super easy lateral.
Who even mentioned GT or MLB? It's a racing game and a sports game, no one cares. No one mentioned it.
The bigger issue is that this was 53gb's of peoples bandwidth cap. I pay the premium for unlimited, but I definitely feel for those who don't at times like this.
I....wait...what?
You don't optimize specific cards on the games end, like...what on earth is up with this site?
Hey why pay attention to how the data is collected? According to the survey, there are more 9500/9600 GT's being run than 1050TI's. It must be the truth.
1366*768 sounds like MacBook Airs/Low end laptops. You know, something someone might run Steam on if they wanted a quick game of Hotline Miami or something. The Steam Survey's were never meant to be taken as gospel, they include all data new and old, because of that it's a skewed metric. I'm right there with you when in reality MOST don't have dual 1080's, but a fair number of people do discounting that based on the Steam Survey is crazy naive.
The 1920*...
I come to N4G for the balanced political commentary. In before someone mentions skewed reality and/or says Mainstream media...Aww to late.
Anywhere Nintendo wants to fit if that's the decision they make, there is nothing about Sony that says it's more or less the fit for Nintendo.
