@moldy.
Fallout 4, battlefront, Metal gear solid TPP, mad max, Assassin's creed syndicate, uncharted collection, Dragon quest heroes, Tales of zestiria, disgaea 5 etc.
Plenty of games for ps4 owners to play, and arguably one of the best line up of games for a very long time. A lot of anticipation in fallout, metal gear etc.
If you're talking exclusive then until dawn and Dragon quest heroes. Sony have really knocked the ball out the...
@hero
That award goes to FF13.
I had a nice chuckle at this comment. Bubs up for funny.
+bub for well said.
FF13 truly an awful battle system.
Agree foxtrot.
Been a gamer for over 20 years and never have I felt my stomach sink so much after realising what a bad game FF13 was.
If you enjoyed FF13 then lucky you, but it was the most divisive FF for a reason, a huge part of the fan Base hated it. I really hope it's nothing like FF13 battle system, the worst imo. Turn based or even FF15 style would be great.
Hmm I believe the director or someone said they wanted FF13 to appeal more to xbox gamers, and that turned out to be one of the worst FF games I have ever played. Embrace the fans who made Final fantasy as popular as it is/was, as a jrpg. Not played the FF15 demo as I really want to go into it blind as possible, but having seen all the trailers so far I'm really loving the look of the game, real time combat is no problem for me loving Kingdom hearts n all. Can't wait to see more :)
Well command and conquer, red alert and retaliation all released on the first Playstation. And worked well surprisingly with a controller without analogue sticks. Believe the ps2 had RTS like kessen etc. Dunno why RTS just kinda seemed to disappear from consoles.
I knew quantum break was being published by Microsoft but yea after looking on Google I see its also being heavily funded by Microsoft too. That kinda sucks for pc owners who have enjoyed max payne and Alan wake.
Still I wouldn't completely rule it out just yet, Phil Spencer has said there will be more of a focus on pc gaming. After reading a statement by remedy they said they wouldn't have been able to fund it without Microsofts help, so I'm guessing it's co...
@ritchi
Same fell asleep at 11 but set my alarm for 2am, wasn't going too (work) but considering how quiet Sony was being and no real leaks thought I'd watch it. Glad I did would of been gutted if I had missed those announcements, fantastic E3 :)
@bzone
Think what he was getting at is sonys biggest fanbase is in Europe and depending where about you live in Europe the conference started for you at either 2am, 3am or 4am. This obviously would of cut down viewing figures for people needing to sleep for work etc. Where as xbox conference was on at a better time here in Europe as a lot of people would have finished work.
Preference decides who won E3. But looking at awards for the show from gaming sites ...
Considering Alan wake ended up on pc I'd bet quantum break will also eventually end up on pc too.
Fantastic game! I actually don't mind losing a match because it's just a blast to play, you feel epic when you pull off a great shot or save lol very fun game :)
Looking pretty cool :)
No idea why you would compare versus 13 with FF7 remake. Even though it's a remake the foundation for the game is already there, the world, story, characters etc. They don't have to brainstorm everything which will cut the development time quite a bit. Not a 100% but I believe they said the game has been in development since before the PS experience. Also we will know more about the game later this year. I say 2017 imo. Can't wait :)
@nick
We have known about halo 5 over 2 years now, does that get a free pass? Guess you'll be giving quantum break, scalebound and crackdown a free pass too considering we still have no release dates and have known about them for over a year.
Sony announced what gamers have been asking for a very long time, it doesn't matter if they will be multiplat or years away, it was the shock factor. They brought a lot of attention to their conference. There...
The thing is Sony don't really need to release any AAA first party this holiday, we are arguably going into one of the best holidays for third party releases in a long time. Chances are Halo 5 and Tomb raider are going to get less attention with fallout 4 and battlefront releasing in the same window.
The uncharted collection is a pretty big deal which is releasing in October also alongside Tales of zestiria and Dragon quest heroes. With marketing rights for COD BO3 and Ba...
Spoilers!!!
I thought about what story would appeal to me if they did a sequel and tbh I think it would be cool if you played as a firefly hunting down Ellie, she is very important to the human race so I don't see why they would give up. Maybe start the game at the end in the hospital when Joel runs into the elevator carrying ellie with fireflys right behind him, you are one of them. That's what I'd think would be cool imo.
That's still an extra 550,000 that wouldn't have happened if they didn't launch in China. If we Split that up evenly I don't think Sony or Microsoft will be too displeased about selling around 275,000 this year. Tbh that's better than I thought, especially with how xbox has been received in Japan.
FF7 is very strongly associated with Playstation, even if it's does come to xbox and pc it's Playstation fans who have mostly been asking for this. To say Sony cheated is a little bit ridiculous. I personally haven't seen much fuss from X1 fans about whether it will come to X1 or not, think they are more annoyed with the attention it's getting rather than wether they'll get to play it. There will be some, but the JRPG fanbase is on PS.
@moldy.
I dont admit anything, it's well known already Sony is lacking in first party this holiday. But as pyramid stated there are plenty of games to play from now until 2016 which you replied 'such as'? So I gave you a list. Maybe you took it as exclusives.
There is no issue. Both consoles have a fantastic line up this holiday, commercially Microsoft have the better line up but for my tastes they don't. Being an RPG fan Tales of zestiria an...
