The only P.C. I use isn't for gaming, I hate P.C. gaming, so of course I gravitate towards COD. To me it's the better style game for what I like to do and who I play with.

It's a dumb comparison. All the BF3 footage is taken off super high end P.C's that hardly anyone owns, while the MW3 footage was taken most likely off of a Xbox 360.
I am not a BF fan but I think it's going to have a hard time competing with MW3, IW and company are doing just enough to improve the game without being drastic and changing what makes it work so well.
Something tells me some of you naughty people who claimed they weren't going to buy MW3 have already plunked down your pre orders!

I think the game looks fantastic and is on a much grander scale then previous games. With three companies working on the game it should have strong points across the board, unlike previous entries.
Updated engine, dedicated servers, 20+ maps at launch, new weapons, perks ect... Possible destructible environments, I mean there isn't much more to ask for.

Well Microsoft isn't announcing new hardware so right away they are at a disadvantage from Sony and Nintendo.
They will probably announce Halo 4, Halo CE Remake, Alan Wake, Gears Kinect, Rare Kinect games, Lionhead Kinect game, more info on Kingdoms ect...

I think this is a step in the right direction. This will help them sell a few more million copies. Though I didn't mind the P2P on the Xbox 360, it always did a pretty good job finding a capable host.

MW3 is Midnight launch for me yet again.
Hype might work for a single game, but there is a tried and true formula as to why COD sells. Bottom line is for all the hate it's always the best selling game of the year, it always scores amazingly well on Metacritic and millions and millions of people play the games online at the same time.
No game is without flaw, but some of the people on this board make it seem as if COD is as bad as Haze or something.....
I cant speak for anyone but myself, however I loved Metro 2033 on the 369, it rated very high and was an amazing game. It did have online as well.
I like how you lumped people in as well, I love COD and own every single one, but I also own a TON of SP games.
They came with new IPs last year, remember Metro 2033 and Alan Wake? Apparently not too many people interested in new IP's these days, though both were fantastic games.

Thats some old games for $40, had it been slightly cheaper I might have considered it. I mean we got the Gears triple pack with Gears 1 and 2 and all the DLC for $29.99, so why not this set?
