Battlefield 3 is a pass for me. Too many vehicle scrubs and not enough competitive competition.
Not everyone likes what BF3 is all about, just like not everyone likes what COD is all about.
I enjoy COD for many, many reason and I dislike games like BF for many, many reasons.
So though BF3 might be better for some people, it's certainly not for me or everyone for that matter.

Looks fantastic. This is going to be the firs racing game I ever buy on day one.
I love how they integrated Kinect with it, so you can use both the controller or wheel to steer and also Kinect for head tracking. Cannot wait to see all the features revealed at E3 this year!
No it's not warranted and in fact it's quite the opposite. Elite is 100% OPTIONAL. Just like PSN+ is. Bottom line is you don't need Elite to play COD the way you do now.
People look at article titles and think you will have to pay to play COD online and it's simply not the case at all.
Also we haven't heard enough about Elite to really judge what it's worth. I usually buy all the map packs, so it's around $45 added on to the cost ...

Uhhh hate to break it to you but if your paying for Elite you get all the maps included in that price.
Also unless I misunderstood, no price has even been announced yet.
Elite looks and sounds really cool and interesting. I think many more people are going to open up to the idea when they hear the pricing.
Since the map packs are included I could see Activision offering a subscription for $35-$45 a year. That would pay for the map packs themselves and you get everything else for free essentially.

Let's not forget over a million also pirated Alan Wake. I think more and more people are just now getting into the awesomeness that is Alan Wake.
A ton of games do much worse then Alan Wake did and really pick up steam in the sequel. A full Alan Wake sequel could easily sell between 3-5 million.
Well it's obvious Microsoft wants a Halo title of some sorts out every year. We might be seeing Halo CE this year and Halo 4 and Halo Wars 2 next year.

It's optional if it is true. I personally don't see how it would work seeing as how Microsoft has a deal with Activision for first dibs on map packs anyway.

Well I played some on the PS2 back in the day, I also know they have a domain concerning SSX and Kinect.
Sonic Free Riders had a lot of tricks and jumping and was tiring but they managed to pull that off.

BF3 has been available for pre order for a longer time is only slightly ahead. SLAP!
Give it another week or two and MW3 will have twice as many pre orders. EA must be shitting themselves about now.
