The Xbox One number of 2 million is based on most recent data. About 18 days. The 1.5 million number is based on only 9 days worth of data. Both numbers are for the 13 countries they launched in.
In contrast, the PS4 number of 2.1 million is based on about 16 days of US and Canada data and only 2 days of data from the other 30 countries it launched in. The reality is that we're not going to get a good idea of how well these consoles did against eachother until the end of ...
Actually Zod, not to be that guy, but it wouldn't have made any difference to Housemarque. Sony already paid for the game to made. As far as I know, any sales of Resogun would go directly to Sony.
Titanfall looks awesome but let's not be ignorant. Driveclub and Infamous are both coming soon. War Thunder, Planetside 2, and Deep Down are far from just arcade games. Plus, considering Resogun scored better with the critics than any X1 exclusive up to this point I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the tons of "poor arcade games" on that list.

No. Daylight has thus far only been confirmed for PC and PS4. Dying Light is completely multiplatform. They are two different games.
Tell me, what are the release dates for Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break? I'll give you a hint. As far as we know, not by Spring 2014. Thief was listed for both in February which is correct. Dying Light is not listed at all. The game that is listed is Daylight. Completely different game.
Outside of future Ryse and Forza reviews, it's comical to call the lot of mediocre exclusive Xbox One games available at launch "the best lineup". Look at it this way, 6 of your 8 exclusives reviewed so far are getting beaten in critical reception by a download-only twin-stick arcade shooter that has 5 levels and is cheap/free.
This was already stated to not be happening. After he posted that it was later confirmed by others and I believe even by himself that their sources say it's not going to be revealed at the event. The game is apparently real and in development, it's just not going to be shown yet.
There were a lot more particles in the PS4 version and the depth of field was slightly more pronounced but other than that not much of a difference. Not one of those games that could do much more with the added power compared to what it was.
Well, watching a certain fanbase trying to claim that Sony was lying to us about being able to buy and sell used games was fun while it lasted.
You mean they're not putting that much energy into a feature that gets very limited third party support and is little more than a novelty for interfacing with a console? Say it ain't so. Even if it became a big deal do you think they won't patch it in?
Don't feel sorry for me or anyone else who bought a PS4. It's not like Killzone is the only game available. See there will also be Assassin's Creed, Need for Speed, Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc. But we will have paid $100 less to play those games. Those who get PS+ will also get Resogun and Contrast for free not to mention anyone with a connection can get a few free-to-play games.
So between free games, what looks to be a great exclusive, and paying less for th...
Less about the game. More about the tears.
Plus, wasn't his main claim that the OS and XBL had problems interacting? I thought that the whole snap feature issue was mostly being talked about by some former IGN editor. Not to mention it's entirely possible that the issue with Snap was fixed in that time. Famousmortimer has proven reliable in the past. He was one of several people, along with that same IGN editor, who outed CoD running in 720p which turned out to be very true.
Considering that it's difficult to get either console in North America right now thanks to the tons of early adopters, I don't think Sony sees a point in rushing to get the PS4 physically promoted in every store. The system is coming out on November 15th. Prior to the big shopping days and well before Christmas. It will be promoted enough to the casual masses once it's released. They already have a few TV and internet commercials for the console.
It's not just first-party studios that are included in that number. It's any game that is being published by Sony Worldwide. So that means not only The Order, Driveclub, and Knack but also Resogun, Rime, Shadow of the Beast, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. My question now is whether or not Doki-Doki Universe, Helldivers, and Hohokum count. Those are all PS3/PS4 games published by Sony. If they don't that means we still have 11 games yet to be announced for Year One. If th...
I think you're right. Just watched it again. What appears to be the health pack symbol on your UI next to your guns and ammo count has a counter that ticks down every time he used an adrenaline shot. Probably makes you choose between making a particular section easier or saving it just in case you fail and need to be revived.
I believe it's an item that you pickup that gives you an adrenaline shot you can use at choice times. It is not something you can constantly do. Obviously it would make the game stupid easy.
Tell me, how often do you refer to yourself as North American?
By the gods! How will this man survive on only 500,000?!
Just as an FYI for those expecting these to sell out quickly, they have been available on Best Buy's website for almost 48 hours now.
