Johnny Storm and Heimdall, a Norse god, get portrayed by black actors and we're not supposed to panic. Someone draws some art of Sean looking lighter than we saw him in SF3 years ago and everyone is supposed to lose their minds.
Plenty of characters in this game, and the Street Fighter universe in general, who are not caucasian. This whole boo-hoo article about diversity is garbage. So a character might have gone through a skin tone adjustment. Which probably won't e...
@hvd222
They sold it for a good reason. Sony didn't want them anymore. SOE's games were underperforming badly. Dragon's Prophet is garbage. DC Universe is a subpar MMORPG. The current EverQuest games are ancient and are poorly updated to more modern standards. They'll never see a console release. Planetside 2 has faded into obscurity even with the recent PS4 release. It's a four year old shooter that doesn't hold up well to current and future offerings...
Sony sold SOE because it was losing them a lot of money every year. In fiscal 2014, SOE caused the company to lose about $60 million. The combined losses that year from Sony's gaming divisions was around $70 million. That means that for every $1 Sony lost from all of their other gaming groups combined, SOE alone was costing them $6.
It was completely unacceptable when you consider that, prior to the sale, SOE had had nothing less than 5 MMOs running; DC Universe, Dragon...
Incredibly revealing outfit? Okay. Violently beating someone into unconsciousness with dangerous wrestling moves? Fine. Calling in her teammate to simultaneously slam their asses into the opponent's face? Acceptable. She slapped her own butt? WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS?!
The visuals of this game would not be possible on the Vita. It would have to be scaled down quite considerably to be playable. They would have to make two different versions of the game. Sony is not going to be using anymore of their own resources to make Vita games. They are focusing on PS4 and PSVR.
It's like some people have a different opinion or something. Strange, right?
Typically, once a game has 30 or 40 reviews that's pretty much what you can expect the score to be. It may go up or down a point or two but not much more. You've more or less seen what the critics thought in general at this point.
It would take a sudden wave of perfect scores to move it from 85 now to anywhere near 90. That pretty much never happens. If a game is going to get that many perfect scores it usually has a lot of them right off the bat. After 41 reviews it...
Turns out, the author of the interview that Gamespot based their article on is not pleased with them twisting what was said.

I'm American and I approve this message.
Kratos runs around in little more than a loincloth. Zangief has been wearing a speedo for decades. Tons of shirtless males or males wearing tight clothing. Male characters in so many games have been given excessive muscles to the point where their biceps have biceps. Totally unrealistic approaches to the human male body. No one says a damn thing. Then these feminazis see a good looking woman who is scantily clad and roar that it's "unrealistic". Unrealistic in a franchise that h...
I'm sure it impacts some. The same small percentage lacking brain power who probably got themselves killed trying to pull off the same spinning bullet deflection stunt Vamp did in Sons of Liberty.
Considering Quantum Break is being made by Remedy, expect a PC release. If the Gears remaster is going to PC you may also want to prepare for a PC release for Gears 4 as well. You also forgot about Fable Legends.
Next it will be, "Crackdown is a new IP from Microsoft being made by Turn 10. Their first attempt at something other than a racing game. We have no information on what it is but the name suggests a drug rehab simulator. We'll have to wait and see".
"Kill Strain
This rumour is nothing more than a trademark registration made by Sony, but it’s widely believed to relate to a new game by Syphon Filter creators Bend Studio. Whether that is actually the name of the project though is in a sense irrelevant, as they have already admitted they’re working on something new for the PlayStation 4 – we just have to wait to see what it is."
LOL fucking facepalm.
@Dewitt
How do you know it's 100% funded by SE? Did the article say that? Sounds a lot like the Titanfall arguments I heard awhile back. "EA is publishing it so it could and probably will come to both". We both know how that went down. A number of games are being published by a third party but not going to other platforms.
Microsoft caught hell for what it was trying to do for a number of reasons. First, it was trying to do something that console consumers weren't ready for and didn't want. Even after the initial backlash Microsoft didn't move on what they were trying to sell and then asked $500 for it. When your competitor gives the consumers what they were wanting AND charges less than you, yeah. You're going to look like the asshole in the room.
It wasn't until after the ...
Don't be stupid.
I have actually found myself in a few life threatening situations as well as situations where I thought I might lose a loved one. Never once did I look to a mythical figure for help. I simply hoped that the doctors would be successful or that chance would be in my favor. I imagine it's much the same for people who don't believe in the same beings you do. I somehow doubt a practitioner of Hinduism called out to Jesus for help at any point in their life. Pretty sure it was the same situ...
Get over it. I've heard Christians make worse jokes about their own religion and the beliefs of others. The funny thing is what he just wrote is basically how it would have went down, assuming it was true. He just added a little joke at the end which was completely harmless. The fact that you found this just so terribly insulting is a clear indication of your own overly sensitive nature. The biggest insult here is you calling him an idiot. Pot, meet kettle. Why don't you ban yourself ...
To be honest, I agree with them. GameSpot is terrible. They've taken interviews done by other websites, like Dualshockers, and reported it completely wrong. Claiming the interviewer asked a question that they never actually asked and completely misinterpreting an answer so they could use it as a headline for clickbait.
They've also "broke" stories that were actually broken by others and refused to give them credit for it. They will often take days to tweet ...
