7 is bad when games like odst get a 9 from them
that Edge would give a 7 and there will be clueless people like Sitdown trying to defend them.
I don't know what caused them to become so biased against Sony but it doesn't matter - Edge should just stop reviewing ps3 games if they hate them so much, and they should do that before someone burn their office down
i can't stop laughing after reading that, but seriously leave Nomura alone for now. Versus is my most anticipated game of 2011 and i want a KH3 before any remakes(KH2 is my fav PS2 game).
ok we get it, FF13 is your favourite game this gen, nothing wrong with that esp when you're a jrpg fan like me. But is it so difficult to understand that there are people out there who enjoys BOTH ff13 and wkc?
FF12 is my 2nd favourite game of the series and i adore open world exploration and chilling out in towns. WKC similarities with FF12 made it more appealing to me.
and just a question, why did you post this a few days ago?
"I hate to say this but The...
I guess that's why games are looking better on the ps3 recently, including RPGs like DragonAge.
If anything, FF13 was made linear thanks to the 360. We all know SE is trying to avoid the disc-swapping nonsense in SO4.
i will never understand why Kitase consider towns as not 'essential to the game' and the retarded excuse that it 'would slow down the pace of the game'.
Has it never occurred to them that those towns could be made optional like Winhill in FF8? And while i do hate supporting lazy devs, i know i would buy the DLC if it features a few towns that comes with side quests.
yes i agree that there's lots of room for improvement(always the case for new IPs) and i also believe that with more polish, WKC2 will realize the full potential of the franchise.
But despite all its faults, i still enjoyed WKC very much and keep in mind that we might NOT get a localized WKC2 if the first one bombs in the west.
i'm assuming that you have played it before passing judgement, but in case you haven't, go try it out esp. if you're a fan of Level5's previous work.
I still think WKC is the 2nd best-looking JRPG so far and most of my friends find the gameplay and customization addictive.
probably have to wait for more feedback before making judgements but....................looks like SE lied YET again.
i thinking they will go for a desert environment this time though Atlantis is always a possibility. ND are really good at rendering water, the ice cave in UC2 literally blew me away the first time i saw it.
It never cease to amaze me when the ps3 version of games like RA3,Stormrise,CivRev and EndWar ship without including m&k support. Just goes to show how lazy most of the multiplat dev are these days when they can't be bothered to take advantage of the hardware differences.
they ARE the ones damaging the industry with their overpriced POS franchises.
sadly, i do believe that this pay-to-play model will happen sometime in the future. SP-only games might not survive otherwise if the current sales trend continues.
Hopefully it will help reverse the 'no multiplayer = no buy' attitude of today gamers and make them realize what they are missing :/
if i have to use motion control, then it must come with buttons.Too much of a hassle otherwise. But like touchscreen, i really doubt any of them is going to replace the good 'ol controller anytime soon.
yea i agree, KZ2's graphics will really amaze you after taking a break away from it.
Halo reach looks better than i expected, and it should get better as development progresses. Right now though, there is no contest. One of the differences that really stands out for me are the gun models in both games. Check out the first comparison and you will see what i mean
some actions are more suited for motion control, e.g. brushing your teeth
Demon's Souls in 3D with 2 Arc controllers. The 3D perspective might help when judging the distance to strike at enemies. It will still be pretty cool even if it doesn't.
woah they are HOT!
Crash Bandicoot Warped was my first ND game and it blew me away. I can still remember my entire family watching on as my brother and i take turns at the controller....good times :)
'miniature version of Noctics' looks odd so they have changed it to resemble that of FF12. There is still a world map, with FF12 style open exploration.
At least that's what i HOPE for. That will be everything i ever wanted in an FF game so i'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Of course things might change, esp if it goes multiplat and we will be forced to play a linear game.
