I ve played both crackdown 1 and 2 during my days, and in no way this is an improvement on the formula.
It felt more like a good steak that has been reheated in the microwave way to much, if you get my meaning.

No, I am not saying it is not a great game, but I have just noticed that most action games have turned to much rpgs lately and it kind of detached you from the rythm.
That is why I loved Re2 or devil may cry 5 way more than dark souls or nioh. This is my opinion and in no way am I saying these games are bad or anything, I own them and I am glad to. I am just saying that sometimes I just wished I would spend more time in the game itself than in the game menu😉😉

Considering ps4 has not seen any meaningful price cut, and considering the switch sales, I do not think Sony is feeling any pressure to launch a new console yet, especially when you consider they have increased their services revenue far beyond expectation.
The lost in revenue at the end of a generation is also due to R&D, manufacturing preparation and marketing cost that comes with the next hardware.
I have Xbox game pass and it's the main reason I still own an Xbox one to this day.

Xbox is pretty much dead in Europe and ASIA territories. I work at micromania(European gamestop) and let me tell you I haven't sold an Xbox one in weeks. I sell a lot more 3ds, ps3 games than Xbox one.
We had to stop xbox one consoles trading since nobody buys them.
