X360 was not profitable the first two years and as soon as they started to be Microsoft was hit by the ROD scandal and had to pay $1.3 billion to extend the warranty and repair consoles. Sony was hit hard the first couple of years by higher production.

Someone please explain to me why TLOU2 digital edition cost more than the steel book edition on Amazon?
I could understand if it was the other way around considering manufacturing, shipping, stocking... etc charges are added on the price.
Both consoles will be great.
If you love playstation you'll get a ps5
If you love Xbox you'll get a XSX.
And if you love games in general you'll get both. 😉😉.

I have been reading edge since 1993 and I can honestly say a 9/10 is a very rare thing. 10/10 happens once or twice every generation.
To be fair my issue with the Sad edition was the price.
Here in Europe the console came at €259. At that time you could get a xbox1S for €229 which kind of made thar console pretty redundant imo.
Please just go and buy an XSX already.
