Great list.
Can't wait for Top 10 Hairstyles in GTA V. (Out of 15 or so available)
I don't rule out the possibilities of smart business models that TTWO/R* can come up with that's fair and profitable to that cause.
They've already shown they can spend hundreds of millions to return over a billion. Maybe that "billion" will soon be plural with just GTA V alone.
The gaming market has only been growing exponentially and the paradigm that I assert could correspond with this.
R* could consider doing what Ubisoft are doing with The Crew with the map.
Ever-expanding, vast countryside in between capitals, quick-travel options, adding the likes of LC, SF, LV, Carcer City, and all that they please into the GTAO world.
Maybe, and hopefully, by then resources will be available and cheap enough to go way beyond 16 players.
Prequel = mistake. So please don't do that.
Horrific article.
It includes:
- Lamar for being dumb
- Aunt Denise for being a cold feminist
- Agent Steven Haines for being a prick
- Lester for being a mean nerd
None of those characters and characteristics can be described as strange to me, let alone being the "strangest".
If these guys make money off writing articles this dumb then it's a shame.
What voices in your head told you I was planning on buying it? Gee.
Watch Dogs in a nutshell:
- Toy car handling
- Mash X to hack X
- Save female from being abused by abusive partner
- Stop other intruding player from hacking you
Ooo! Next-gen!!!

"Going by your logic" You're must be somewhat illiterate or stupid. I didn't even mention what I thought made it look superhuman and you assumed I meant the parkour elements.
Let me use a better word. The animations look terrible as in fake and unnatural. This is in stark contrast to much else of the game. The AI and Aiden walking around look as realistic as in any open world game. The graphics, I don't need to say.
Then you go into comb...
It won't even get near GTA V.
Ubisoft Montreal are mediocre at best. Just look at those toy car handling and super human animations on Aiden Pierce.
Oh, he looks really cool and mean with his hands in his pockets and looking down all the time, though. /s
Ubisoft should focus their resources on actually promising-looking projects like The Division with Ubisoft Massive over in Sweden than a bunch of AC-milking canadians.
Write a story that pulls on heartstrings and it's supposed to be good enough to win GOTY.
I love TLOU, but there's a reason they're called games. As a game, TLOU played no different to the Uncharted series.
It seems people here are getting more and more emotionally attached and influenced by game characters. We might as well turn all these game studios into film ones.
If an interactive movie wins GOTY, then we may as well stop calling them games.
A horrifically written article that should have never made the news here.
I'll just quote a small snip of the beginning of it: "Grand Theft Auto is out. The labour love for the team at Rockstar. It cost $200.000 to make and it shows."
And you can make out how well-written the rest of the garbage is.
If it could so easily be done let's see you write a fanfic of equal quality and believability as GTA V's plot and three main characters.
It's annoying enough with the females whining about this but then there's (excuse for) guys like you that think it will help the game if they added a "cute female" just for kicks.
Trevor is one ugly motherfucker but he's become my favourite GTA character of all time for all that he is.
...
Look at his profile on Forbes:
"Paul Tassi, Contributor
I write about video games, technology and the internet"
Also, this guy approves Carolyn Petit's infamous "critique".
So nothing new, just the same old feminazism that GTA V is drawing a lot of.
In the top 3 or 4 best rated on Metacritic or Gamerankings, but best game ever is very subjective, really.
I don't have a single all-time favourite, but this one is right up there among the few I would name on top of my head.
Yeah that'll be really entertaining wouldn't it. /s
I think R* could keep repeating their several main US cities and it could work out if they just keep adding features with each generation or so:
- Increase physical size and scale of the map
- More packed with interiors
- More interactions
- More immersion
There's a lot that can be done. Imagine being able to interact with basically everything, or having nearly everything simulated. R* did say their ultimate goal is to create the u...
Pretty rare this, but I agree on the order here exactly.
It'll be great if they can market the game based on the game itself and not the success of another.
So far, pressing X to instantly hack a set of things isn't intriguing enough.
Besides pretty graphics like every other next-gen title, this game holds little appeal. I hope this isn't the benchmark for next-gen, and at least I'm almost certain it isn't.
Ubisoft's very own The Division looks leaps and bounds ahead of Watc...
What's this movie poster people are talking about? All I see is a photo of Neil in a mo-cap studio.
