you'd be surprised how much technology advances in a decade.
think of 10 years ago when your pc had a pentium III processor. if u were to get one now, it would most likely be a quad core computer.
1. Loss of Color
This is partially true. From my CES 08 demo of Wipeout HD in 3D, it felt like I was looking through sunglasses, but the loss of color wasn't really that noticeable. The 3D coolness made up for it though.
2. You need 3D glasses
This is just an annoyance. Its like putting in a disc to play netflix.
Arc looks cool, but knowing Sony's past history, I think it'll be the same thing as Eyetoy. Sony won't push it to the extent that Microsoft is pushing natal.
Natal looks cool too, but we haven't seen anything about it(live demos) other than ricochet, so I'll hold with my opinion on that.
Personally, i'm not excited for any of the motion controllers.
Bungie... i mean ps3onlyhasflopgames,
don't ridicule yourself
On Topic: The game looks great, I just wish in some parts, it actually looked like their lips were moving in conjunction to what they were saying.
I agree with you. Part of why Heavy Rain would be more successful released now as opposed to say 4 years ago is because we have so many violent and multiplayer games that people get tired of. This game is refreshing. And they have good timing too, as people would take a break from MW2.
But i don't really plan on buying many games like this. One time refresh to a different type of gameplay is fine, but I really can't imagine how it would be if the market was flooded with these ki...

which one has better graphics?
Me: Hey iw, just wanted to say, although COD4 isn't perfect, its my favorite online game so far this gen, and it just keeps me coming back(Jan 08)
IW guy #1: It seems like our fans like the game. Lets spend 2 years making a sequel, but lets not change the game. Everything is the same, but we'll use different guns.
IW guy #2: And lets make our perk+equipment system different. We'll make them more noob friendly. And make sure grenade launchers are unbalanced so noobs get int...
you should actually try reading the article. your comment sounds ridiculous after reading it. It just makes you look dumb. Read the article and you'll know what I'm talking about. What he says actually has a lot of support behind him saying it. Take off the mentality that he's a bad man because he wants you to pay to play for extra content in games, and look at it through his shoes. Much of what he says is true. The gaming industry isn't doing amazing right now. We have good games, but there'...
the graphics look pretty good for halo. Much better than Halo 3. Its not just textures that you should look at. Also look at how much greater the bullets hitting the wall looks. And the guns are so much better
i really think they hit the spot with this. They didn't make just update their UI to match Android or Web OS, they took it a step forward with the integration.
the point of MS advertising is not to get people with both systems to buy it on the 360, its to raise awareness that FFXIII is coming out on the 360. People will relate FF to Sony, which is why MS needs to advertise.
i was hoping it would be a real trailer too.
1 more month till completion, then its up to Sony to decide when they want to deliver this beast
I could say that, but I'd have to wait a while.
I've already got my DX11 offerings from ATI, which is nvidia's main problem. I have nothing against Nvidia personally, I have no doubt that their DX11 cards will be great, but they were a little late to the party.
You can't firmware upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4 because theres many new features like the ethernet channel and audio return channel.
1.3, however, does support 3D
meh, i'd wait till ATI's 32nm if I'd have to give up my soul.
I expect the adoption rate to be just a little bit faster than the adoption of LCD tv's. The reason is because most major manufacturers are pushing 3D. Many industries are pushing 3D. The only problem is content. Many people don't seem to be interested in making 3D movies/games.
But you are right, Avatar did help push 3D. Not to the consumer, but to the film makers. They look at the success of Avatar in 3D, now everyone will start making 3D movies and try to be as successful
a 3D TV is needed, but 3D supposedly beefs up the price by about $200.
the reason is because this isn't the 3D where you put on your red and blue glasses and watch snow fall on you, this is full all out 3D actually immersing you in the enviornment. I don't know how many of you saw the demo in CES in person, but it was pretty cool.
Remember, 3D is still a battlefield, meaning theres no standardized specs for it. Although the shutter method requires glasses(and is the ...
@bioshock
im sure that xbox made them much more and zune brought them down
no, its supposed to get hits for the site because its posted on n4g and has the words "erotic" and "sex"
"3D+Natal"
The 360 has HDMI 1.2 which can't support 3D. However, I do agree with the fact that 3D gaming isn't going to make people move anymore than what 2D gaming is.
