I doubt PD will ever be short on cash. The money generated with one GT game is more than enough to fund the next 3 GT games assuming they've made on average $20 every sale.

what you said is true, even if Sony made $20 on each sale of Prolouge, that means they've made almost $100m. I'm guessing that GT5's budget is anywhere from $40-$60m

Plus, you can't "lose" trophies. When the system syncs with psn, it'll be smart enough to know that you didn't go from level 5 to no trophies at all.

You're wrong where you say ps3 owners are excited for the wand. All Sony has shown was a tech demo. Its just another gimmick, not many ps3 owners will care about or buy it. I might take that statement back after e3, but from what they've shown so far, its not enough to 'excite' many people. More people are excited for Natal than Sony's Arc.

I agree, the dlc was good. For me, i thought the dlc was more fun than GTA IV
that was before all the processing was going to be done on the 360. And if you've seen people that have played the burnout, they thought it was cool, but they said like your foot was either on the brake or you were flooring it. There was no gradual acceleration.
With most 'existing franchises', i'd rather have a physical controller. Although it would be cool to use it for mlb 10. For me, I couldn't care less about motion controls.
They say how it is prerendered because it takes up a lot of space. The e3 demo took up a whopping 2.5gb for only including the blades, one titan, and 3-5 different types of enemies, and virtually no cutscenes, just the camera zooming in and out of different stuff.

this is the same e3 demo.
if only you were old enough to afford a good pc, maybe then you would understand that most of the most hard core gamers are at the pc.

Little hype? quite the opposite. This game is already hyped by the fact that it is God of War III. And its further hyped by the fact that its a much needed game for a cliffhanger ending in GOW2. Kratos further adds to the hype by being Kratos. The graphics showcased in the new trailer and screenshot blew people away. The trailer alone got people excited. And the recent review scores just pushed this game out of the hype meter's recordable range.
Going gold basically means the final version of the game is finished and now they're making copies of it, packaging it, and shipping it.
