Oh ok...Siren is pretty much like the old school Silent Hills
Buy amnesia and Siren...thank me later
Fail!
This discussion made me wonder why variable resolution, like Wipeout, isn't used more. I think Rage might be the only other game that uses it. I wonder if they have some research into which is noticed more dropped frames or resolution.

There ya go. Only costs two spleens to get online.
Or an avatar actually takes the bottom of your shoe.
Seriously?!? Why do people keep saying this? Where are people going to buy the hardware when it gets dropped by retail outlets? Consoles are already expensive, and retail would require a large markup if games aren't sold in stores (PSP Go).
Anywho, excited to see the specs of all three systems.
GameSpot still exists? GameSpot is dooommmmmmmmmeedd by news aggregator sites like n4g.

Games Journalism is so predictable. 3ds is doomed. Vita is doomed. The systems start to gain customers. Then the journalists shut their stupid mouths, and then say something else is doomed or outdated. What a sad state Games Journalism is in. Instead of telli...
I really don't know how the ps5/xbox 1080 will meaningfully advance, when it seems that the heat/size/cost wall has been hit hard this gen/and possibly next.

Main Stream Consumers: lol...$300 or bust

The market and sales pipeline just wasn't there in the beginning, nor the capital to get to that level. Hence the mail order/shareware model. Trials and demos are technically the same thing as shareware was, except no copy protection.
Wah wah....used games
wah wah...piracy
wah wah...making games is hard
Maybe your game just sucks and you're overpaid. Average of 6 figures for a game developer is just silly.
Games Journalism is just paid advertising really (see Gerstmann gate), and I wonder who would want to see the PS3, PSV, and 3DS fail (from all the doom articles)....
