Having the option is okay I think, but if you take it away and force the player to buy remedial crap that's free in most other games, then count me out.
I don't think Phil Spencer is at all in the right for promoting Xbox One DRM during the controversy, but would you risk losing your job or doing what you could to promote your company's product? He was not in a good position no matter what he said or did. And it seems like he did not have much control over those decisions as he would have liked. Guess we'll see if Spencer can channel all this into a positive future for Xbox.
Jive turkey... I think I have my new life slogan. XDDD
"I know other things that would like to personally hurt him too."
Ouch dude. Really?
Microtransactions for performance boosts? Are you serious? Dang it all. I've gone from thinking this looks amazing to groaning at the sight of it in a single day! :(
Nooooo, PS4 and Xbox One are both out now. Meaning all three consoles of the eight generation are out. So PS4, Xbox One and Wii U are all current generation.
Can't say I disagree. This game and concept looked really cool... but an always online component? Fuggedabout it.
Bayonetta, X and Smash Bros. are all due out this year. And Mario Kart 8 comes out in less than a month...
Is he? I never knew about that. I remember playing Judgement with a friend of mine and we were a little disappointed with it. Perhaps a fresh console will do the series some good. :)
I now want a Kinect game where to win you snap to the Addams Family theme song.
How about a REAL Banjo-Threeie on Xbox One Microsoft? >:(
Or Parappa the Rapper on PS4.
Or F-Zero on Wii U.
I could go on. xD
Agreed. As long as you can play the game efficiently without paying real world currency, then it won't be such a big deal. Making me pay money just to fast travel is so... greedy.
Aww, no Skull Kid love?
Man, that actually looks pretty fun. So many racing games coming out...
I actually really want to try this for some reason.
I actually never played Advance Wars. I know it's a strategy game, but how does it play? Is it more like Fire Emblem or like Starcraft?
Nintendo did almost the exact same thing with Zelda Twilight Princess, actually. That was made on the Gamecube then development shifted over to Wii in the later part of the cycle and the GCN version was delayed for a few months. It was a means to sell the Wii. And it worked!
I say Naughty Dog should get free reign the way Retro Studios does and keep it that way. Developers who know their stuff won't let you down. :)
That comes with higher development costs. :( I really hope the generation after this one focuses on making development less costly as oppose to making the graphics prettier.
By any chance, do you know if this game has cross-buy?
