Sony and nintendo, if you ask me. Both of those companies make games for their systems. Nintendo is in a bit of an identity crisis, but they still make fabulous games. Sony has gotten out of their PS3 midlife crisis and now they're champions of the gaming market again. It's because they know games. Period.
The Xbox brand would probably do better in the hands of a company that actually seems to care about games. Microsoft needs to either get their heads into the market or get out entirely.
She spent THAT much? holy crap. You could get a decently running PC desktop for that much for goodness' sake. :/
Unfortunately mobile games still count as games. And look at it this way, it's a good way to keep an eye out for potential scams so you can warn friends and family members who may play those sorts of games.
The thing is the microtransactions in F2P games can lead to spending more than $60 after a while. There's why we've heard all these stories of kids spending fortunes on their parents iPhone games.
I'd be surprised if they did not succeed in that honestly. With the new advancements in hardware, they should be able to manage making games look as close to CGI as possible by the end of the generation.
I agree with this somewhat. That being said, a game doesn't need to look great to play and feel great. We went generation after generation with graphics that are not as good as we have now. Just because graphics have gotten better doesn't mean that all of those great games have gotten worse. Graphics can help games be better, but it should not be the core focus of the experience.
Some people just prefer consoles. Not everyone needs a game to be full HD 60fps. It depends on the person. Don't be so judgmental.
They really have become quite a shady company, haven't they.
Yeah, I expected better. The online upload will look nicer though, so there's that to look forward to.
Probably another tweet or formal announcement.
Metal Gear Solid
Cod4: Modern Warfare
Metroid Prime
Diddy Kong Racing
Mass Effect
Kingdom Hearts
Earth City from Halo 2 is one of my favorites. but I think my all time favorite track is the credits theme from Metroid Prime. So somber and spacey, it was perfect.
Sigh. Can we go a single post without stroking our corporate shlongs? Come on guys, there is hardly a reason to be making stupid jokes about other peoples' favorite companies.
Call me crazy, but if the announcement HAS to be about a TV show, I'd like to see something of the Spielberg Halo show. Spielberg is great and I'd like to see his take on the Halo universe.
Knowing Microsoft it very well could be a TV show. Who the heck knows?
There's a demo available? Where can I find this so that I may try it out as well? :)
But isn't that like calling Avatar an anime? If it's not from Japan then it's inaccurate to use the label. This is Japanese inspired, but it's not from Japan. So how do we classify it as a JRPG?
I think they call it that because it was largely inspired by old JRPGs. But I agree, it should be called an RPG, not JRPG since the J stands for Japanese. :P
The Xbox One can recover, but it most certainly will not overtake PS4. That ship sank long ago when they created their own PR disaster over the DRM restrictions.
