im not surprised Steam outsold XBLA... i personally bought it on Steam for 75% off during the holiday sale. it was only $3.75!
(it launched on XBLA discounted to $10, but i think its now at $15)
if anyone has the same problem, i finally found a fix thanks to a suggestion from an XBL friend.
1. Exit from the mission to dashboard
2. Go to System Settings in dash and Clear System Cache
3. Reload game (and cross your fingers)
kind of off topic, i know... but i couldn't find a fix for a week and didn't see anything really online anywhere, posting here so maybe this might help others.
now that i can play again, my l...
and if Japanese game companies want more American & Europeans' money... they will (as they have) make their games more widely available to as many consumers as possible.
this might be a shocking concept for you, but that making money is generally the whole point of a company.
personally, i could care less if it's exclusive or not, i just want it to be a great game in the main series, not a side story or prequel. KH2 was very good, but the origin...
do your homework buddy, just because you "would like" something to be true doesn't mean it is. most people equate facts as truth, so here are some for you showing that FF13, despite it all, has sold very well since it went multi plat.

i have it on 360 and it's a glitch fest there as well.
when it's all working as it should be, i'd agree with reviews in the 9+ range... but at this point, i don't think i would even recommend anyone buy it at all.
personally, my single player campaign (which i was really getting into) came to a grinding halt, ironically enough, due a glitch in a mission where a carriage i am supposed to ride shotgun in doesn't move forward, even though t...
after Tekken Tag Tourney, which was awesome, the whole series has been pretty much 'meh'
a vs. Street Fighter wouldn't excite me either... they are soo vastly different from each other, i just don't see it meshing well into a good game.
Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter though... i'd be all over that. especially if it was made by Sega/AM2. (VF is the one game they consistently get right)
reminds me of a something from the Dreamcast era.
maybe it's a PSP game?
wasn't on their list, but it comes out at the end of the month and, from the vids i've seen, looks great. must buy for any fan of shmups
@Demons Souls
so in your head, mediocrity equals multiplat games, that you feel the need to trash even though you haven't played, or actually know what 'kind of effort' went into them...
yet, you're looking forward to buying Joe Danger... which was developed originally as a XBLA/PC game (which up until recently was still showing the xbox buttons in screens/trailers) and is only recently a PSN exclusive.
hmmm... i wonder how you might d...
there are loads of non exclusive games out there that are fantastic and either were initially multi plat at development or ended up(or will end up) non exclusive afterward
Braid, Castle Crashers, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 9, PB Winterbottom... etc etc etc
maybe you should just pick better games to buy ;)
i have plenty of regretted purchases on both XBLA/PSN... but they are almost always tied to impulse buying and/or not playing the d...
but only a few of them stand out as really memorable...
Jennifer Hale on the other hand, she should be on (and near the top) of this list.
She is a much better Shepard in Mass Effect than the guy... plus is great as Naomi in Metal Gear, Samus in Metroid Prime, and Bastila Shan in KOTOR.
dream choice for me would be Guillermo del Toro.
after the awesomeness of "Pan's Labyrinth" & "Hellboy" i would LOVE to see what he could do with a science fiction setting.
@Joni
if it's not about Epic being exclusive to 360, as you say... then why is the title "Epic Must Stay Exclusive For Xbox360"
i can see why people comment on these type of stories when they don't read the full one (i just did), it's because they see the contributor/source is HHG (or GamesThirst etc) and already know it's going to be lite on the facts and heavy on the half truths and flame bait titles.
@wxer
maybe you could try a little harder too... the quote you highlight is true.

they (Ready at Dawn) only recently came back.
back on topic though, as this doesn't really have anything to do with GOW.
Jaffe while very creative and talented has always seemed to me like a giant a$$hole. i enjoy his games & c...
guess we'll find out soon enough... by whether or not it's a no show at E3 this year
personally, BG&E2 was near the top of my wish list of things to see come out of E3.
anyway, i'd personally sub that one out and add in Dragon Age Origins.
fantastic game, but many it was ugly at times.
EDIT: i meant the console version (i bought the PS3 version... check my PSN ID). i do realise PC was lead platform and can be cranked up to to a higher level.
i was just thinking about this today too, i'm playing through General Knoxx right now. (love it, by the way)
but just realized, that i've already spent almost $100 on this one game ($60+tax for game & 3 DLC packs @ $10 each)
not saying that as a bad thing necessarily, just surprised me when i thought about it, as it's a bit high really... yet i don't feel ripped off.
that's a pretty crap drawing there... but i couldn't help but immediately think of Xenogears. (see pic)
might be projecting though, that's pretty much the only JRPG i ever really got into and enjoyed, so i might be like those people that see Jesus in their burnt toast.
if it's not that, then i'll keep out hope for a new Virtual On game.
seriously, this guy, while very talented, needs to just chill out sometimes.
Twisted Metal 2 is easily top 5 games EVER for me (Spectre FTW!)... but it's not like like David Jaffe came up with the concept of the demolition derby.
granted, he just made it fun as sh1t and added some guns, missles, & a clown from hell.
i just wish he would spend less time ranting about stupid things and more time focusing on announcing/finishing the next great (finger...
the Devs (Ankama) are French and are quite popular in France. they have comics, animation, and a few flash games.
it seems to have came out of nowhere though, which is kind of odd. i couldn't even find a proper review on any of the top tier gaming sites, even though it's been released.
i think the game looks great, visually. worth downloading the demo at least.
