I got more Bioshock vibes from it, tbh
Cloud Chamber, under 2K, is the new studio developing the next Bioshock (4?) game.
yea the CPU is already showing a bit age ... but sadly its not getting that much of a boost
yep same here ...
Most games are still PS4 Pro+ level than proper PS5-esque ... devs squeezed more out of X360/PS3 era than this cross-gen era ... like Monolith's nemesis system or BF4 multiplayer or even Crysis 3 or GTA V
Where's the next-gen gameplay? ... its just higher pixel count or shinier texture or few ray traced shadows :P
Make more use of that zippy SSD than just lower load times and few portals in one game
I am seeing wayy more gameplay i...

yep, that doubt is the very reason, they haven't switched yet, the task'd be monumental for them, given the highly interactive nature of their games.
People might comment: "well this 'x' UE game has done that or that 'y' UE game has already done that feature" ... well, yeah but along with the features Bethesda also has to come up with lore, world building, numerous dialogues, quests and what not (think more like next Sk...

with new gameplay segments
@anast
then wait till you hear about audiophiles and their spendings
People always pay more, if they can that is, to get the best experience
@isarai
Very few hardcore PC gamers actually switch over or buy a new non-Nintendo console just to play a particular game early.
The situation was there during the X360 and PS3 times due to the tight exclusivity but doubt its there anymore, especially after console games are ending up on PC platforms eventually nowadays, one way or the other.
The only game that's capable of enticing new console sales for PC gamers is GTA VI. Some PC gamers might give in to the h...
Although cracking exists, Majority PC gamers nowadays have moved away from fiddling with piracy due to Steam sales, post-release game fixing patches, DRMs and better support.
And even though, I am not supporter of piracy but many delisted games are now only available as pirated copies.
Contributing much to game preservation.
Many DRM-heavy poor-performing games also have benefitted from DRM-free cracked copies. Like REVIII.
Again not promoting piracy but th...
A Morrowind remake in UE5.
Can be a great a transition project for Bethesda to ditch the Creation engine and switch to UE finally.
No need to worry about story & quests, just focus totally on the technical side.
Console gamers not maybe ... but PC gamers do care. (we foul mouth the launch build but end up modding it to bits just to get lost in the interactive world)
eh, I want Fallout 5 before that.
(before ES6, even ... if it was possible 😈)
Hoping for a fall-2024 release
"According to Okamura, following Metal Gear Solid Delta, the decision to work on full-fledged remakes with new features and visuals will be evaluated on a game-by-game basis.
He further mentioned that the development team will have a major video presentation happening sometime soon, where it will reveal some bigger announcements regarding the franchise’s future."
I wanted this to be good. IMHO I think Bloober would've done a better job. A better fit I'd say for this project.
Whilst Bloober was handling this remake/reboot, some other studio (better than Bloober) could've handled the Silent Hill Remake (like Remedy or such).
@GamerRN
wait ... which way is this a troll comment? Genuinely asking? Just pointing out another good looking UE5 game coming out this year? Or that's also allowed no more?
PS4 went from 1.8TF of GCN2 to 4.2TF of GCN4 for the PS4 Pro. Quiet a leap.
XBOX One went from 1.3TF of GCN2 to 6TF of GCN4 for the One X. Quiet a leap.
PS5 has max boost of 10.2 TF of RDNA 2 to ~17 TF of RDNA3/4 (ignoring dual-issue shader of RDNA3) for the PS5 Pro. Honestly not that big of a leap to place it near the supposed PS6 performance territory.
The RT improvement on the other hand is better though. It seems the 5 Pro will be heavily reliant on the new upsc...
@Barlos
we don't know how big the scope and how simulation heavy the game is ... stop jumping to conclusions this early.
Visuals aren't everything ... that's just GPU calculating ...
this game might be doing some serious CPU-heavy simulations ... who knows?
And its using the RE engine. We all know how good the cross-gen RE Village and 4 Remake looks as well as how well optimized those are.
as well as the upcoming GrayZone Warfare
