Fallout London would've been the perfect return gift for Fallout fans after watching the Prime show
Howard is more against Remakes ... he can be forced to handover the IP rights for a spin-off but he'll rebel if remakes are discussed. lol
Plus ... fallout 1 and 2 humor is pretty dark ... doubt MS will be able to keep 'em in remakes.
I'd rather have a Fallout 1st person (Starfield engine based) spin-off from another studio like Obsidian/Roundhouse/Arkane a la New Vegas style and Fallout 5 from Todd & co.
Also won't mind another isometric Fallout RPG spin-off on top of that as well ... from inXile or Obsidian
Yea ... can't wait for FO London
@KyRo
So, by 15 years, you mean Fallout 3 was the last great game Bethesda made?
You don't consider Skyrim a good game, which came out 13 years ago?
I'd consider Fallout 4 a pretty decent game as well. It's Story & RPG elements were a bit downgrade from New Vegas but the exploration and shooting on the other hand, were upgrades.
FO76 was disappointing and Starfield could've been better at launch I'll agree.
@purple101
Dude, not all studios are managed equally & perform similarly... stop comparing and undermining people's works. Stop comparing veteran studios with newly created one.
Stop console/studio warring all the time.
Insomniac, capcom, Ubisoft can churn out multiple games year after year, doesn't mean other studios are trash.
There was 5 years gap between Ascension and GoW'18, 6 years between Original Sin II and BG3, 7 years between Max ...
Really looking forward to seeing the Forzatech based Fable. Playground games has had a great track record with the Horizon series, so lets see.
Its not just only Todd not playing ball.
Obsidian have made a name for themselves in delivering stellar RPGs, but most famous once have always been sequels/spin-offs to borrowed IPs like KOTOR 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Stick of Truth etc.
Obsidian wants to invest more in their own original IPs like Outer Worlds or Pillars of Eternity with Avowed.
Similar to what Bluepoint & inXile wants to do or Kojima is doing (i.e not involving anymore in Ko...
If anybody's gonna mention BioWare, then look at Archetype Entertainment, they're the new BioWare
or else
Obsidian is still a good choice but not independent anymore.
Yea, my brother got his PS4 (coz of a good deal) after the PS4 Pro's release.
Might be an unpopular opinion here, but I wish the remake was a 2-parter not a 3-parter.
Die-hard fans will disagree and I get it but ... I think they're stretching the project abit too much imho.
Main point of the article is how far DLSS has come with v3.7 since 2018. If this is what we're getting already, then imagine what we'll get within next ~3 years. Yes parity will obviously be there compared to the then native rendering tech but it'll slowly narrow down to the point it'll be indistinguishable.
Something similar is like the genAI Sora ... AI generative videos were turd back when they were introduced (the infamous Will Smith eating video) ... but now look...
Don't know what's OP's point is either but ... checkerboard rendering was good enough for its time but in terms of image quality its wayy behind what's DLSS 3 or FSR 3 is currently offering.
The main point of the article and what OP missed here is that DLSS 3.7 is soo good that its nearly undisguisable from native rendering and basically throws the "its still blurry and inferior to native rendering" debacle, (that's been going around in PC community sinc...
ironic, given the fact what the TV show did to New Vegas, lol
I am guessing they'll show more gameplay + Splinter Cell Remake gameplay and the new AC reveal at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward presentation.
take it or leave it, pal
Well its Massive Entertainment
They are much better than the other Ubi studios
Ok I thought you meant Insomniac reluctant/Sony not permitting them to go back and work on Overdrive. Hence I added the participation from Sony's side.
But yea, In actuality its Insomniac not having spare dev time to get involved in the port work, atm.
Didn't Sony help with SoT port?
Exactly!
