They have multiple single player games in development, so one of 'em can be a FPV project. All Sony titles currently are third person games, the few first person ones are live services.
Plus we dont know how a Naughty Dog FPV game can be. It might be really immersive. We can never know unless they try. Try something different other than the same old trope.
Monolith has confirmed its a single-player only with no live-service elements.
Monolith is a veteran dev studio and their last work were the stealth-action Mordor series with the Nemesis system.
The only current DC game that might be good is already in trouble?
Hope one of them is a FPV game. They can try more immersion with FPV.
GOTY
Lol, really?
I'd thought its closer to Forza Horizon (or legacy TDU for the matter)
edit : oh, read the sitename now.
Yep, the analogy now makes sense.
They wont.
Too many legacy program scripts to transition to UE.
Obsidian can still save the reputation with a banger spin off Fallout title whilst Bethesda concentrates finishing TES VI.
Only drawback is Obsidian will have to halt the Outer Worlds 2 development.
yea ... oops, The Finals, thanks @purple101
Don't know why I typed rivals ... maybe coz of the recent SoP's Marvel's Rivals
but my point still stands:
' Doubt Fairgames can surpass the likes of The Finals, which is really well made and is getting constant updates ... and most of Haven studio is comprised of ex-Ubi devs. '
let them try ... at the end of the day, we get few extra PC games ... yay ... and also promotes game preservation via PC ... so double yay.
Find it a bit strange that Nixxes isn't porting this one. Maybe they were contracted for both GoW ports?
Although their GoW PC port job was pretty good, it wasnt flawless at launch, but was still miles better than Horizon 1 or TLOU ports.
Hope they do a better/near flawless job with GoW sequel.
It already is :P
Yea kinda looked good to me too
But I think people are burned out from hero shooters. Fans were expecting something similar to killzone or such.
Anyway it seems that every upcoming Sony GaaS titles will target specific sub genres.
Correct me if I am wrong here:
Concord is a team-based hero shooter.
Fairgames is a heist competitive shooter with some twist.
And Marathon is an extraction shooter with it's own twist.
...
...
Its not my type of game ...but the design and art style is really well thought out
A PR showdown going on between big MP shooter IPs.
xDefiant release vs CoD's reaction with BO6 reveal and MWIII free weekend vs Concord's reveal and beta announcement
Hope SH2 gets more polish before release.
GotG is very underrated and had the unfortunate luck of releasing just after Avengers.
Its really good and more people should play it.
Most games appeared good.
Where Winds Meet and Monster Hunter seemed like those needed a bit more polish but that's ok as those aren't releasing anytime soon but I am still kinda worried regarding SH2Remake. Still looks rough and from rear view, James Sunderland looks nearly identical to Leon Kennedy's model from RE4Remake. Hope I am wrong though.
Other games were decent. Even Marvel Rivals.
Ballad of Antara was the highlight for me, followed by Infinity...
Would love a AAA PoP too or a back to roots Ghost Recon (none of the open world stuff)
lol,
FPV is always more immersive ... hence most VR titles are FPV centric.
