In the meantime you can get a decent SSD.
The Kingston KC2000 NVMe PCIe SSD is a really good deal.
Nearly matching the performance of the dominating Samsung 970 Pro but at a much lower price.

SSD difference will take time to show up.
Initially first-party devs will showcase the 1st-generation of SSD-centered games.
Then third parties will follow but won't be able to showcase that much improvement initially since multi-plat differences.
Then on the second round of 1st party games is when the gamers are gonna get flabbergasted. : o

So Cyberpunk 2077 PREVIEW Ran at 1080p with DLSS 2.0 and RT Enabled on an RTX 2080Ti with 60 to 30 variable fps. And 4K DLSS is being targeted with the final build on a 2080Ti.

I guess you can reach 4K with DLSS 2.0 (kinda indistinguishable from native 4K) using your RTX 3080 (if you happen to end up buying one)

When you'll crank up Cyberpunk @ 8k.
Resolution increase is always proportional to performance bandwidth.

RTX 2080Ti was $999 at launch.
But it was kinda overkill so, $699 RTX 2080 is what you needed for top trumps.
And PS5 is rumored to be expensive. So .... an RTX 3080's gonna be 1.2x the price of the launch PS5.

That's what this project will turn into. All references to Bond will be removed and a spy-espionage inspired game will take its place.

Q. Will Control Ultimate Edition give me access to Control on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5?
A. We will offer a free next-gen digital upgrade for those who buy Control Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

So, the free upgrade to next-gen version is locked behind an Ultimate Edition.

But is this the official logo? Or BossLogic's usual fan-arts.

PS3 titles on Steam?
Yea that'd be cool.
Ofcourse everybody will scream MGS4 but I have a funny feeling, Sony's going to take the Bluepoint's Remake route with that one.
inFamous 1 & 2, Killzone 2 & 3 and Resistance trilogy are welcome on Steam.
And why not add Nathan Drake Collection and TLOU Remastered as well?

exFat has no realistic file-size or partition-size limits, similar to NTFS. Yet boasts more compatibility than NTFS.
But it's time to move on.
NTFS supports file permissions for security, encryption and shadow copies for backups.
