I don't know why everyone wants an open-world Superman. It's pretty tough to bring about.
Why not make a JL game with SuperMan playable in linear closed environments?
A long semi-linear game with each JL member having each their own chapter is a better proposition, right?
That same ol' highly modified UE3 for Arkham Knight?
Man ... if that's the case, watching this, it seems they modified it even more to the point it barely resembles UE3 and .... can't even be called one 😄 (Same as Valve's Source forked out from idTech)
.
But it seems more like a modified UE4 (if its in-engine and not CGi)
RT will take time to implement intelligently.
Devs need to transform their approach regarding lighting solutions. Some devs still prefer the old way of baked lighting.
Same as Devs changing their pipeline for their project to work bespoke-ly for SSDs.
New tech. Takes time. It's not an one-day evolution.
And hardware needs to evolve a bit more.
If there are devs who'll develop games exclusive to PC architecture, they're more likely sh...
So the original pitch:
"no one left behind" also deduced as "we're not anti-consumer"
Is any of that happening at all, then? From 1st party?
@GreatSako
"The graphics are already ahead than many other 3rd party games" ~ Where did you see in-game graphics?
Or were you referring Gotham Knight?
They didn't mention GaaS, anywhere ... only optional 4-player co-op.
Dunno, if it'll be offline solo too.
Ideally, the co-op should be a toggle like many other games, where it's upto the user to allow co-op sessions.
2022, so there's a possibility this might get the Unreal Engine 5 upgrade.

"Mason! The Numbers! What do they mean?"
"They mean death. Death of Franchises. The numbers killed AC. And now they'll kill the Bat franchise, too"

Is it mentioned anywhere that this is GaaS?
To me its kinda like a merge of the Arkham trilogy with action RPG elements and can be played solo or two-player co-op.
But doesn't look like GaaS and its nowhere mentioned too. Only optional 2-player co-op mode.
Actually, its a fairly popular opinion.
But choosing Crysis 2 over 1 is a bit unpopular.
Yup ... Couldn't agree more.
The RE4 Remake is kinda unnecessary. Let it age a bit more. It was one the most advanced 6th gen game.
Instead a proper Remake of Silent Hill is a much better proposition. But its upto Konami's bizarre logic.
This is alpha ...
Wait till the overall development completes.
Bezos is more interested in space exploration.
Cyberpunk 2077: C'mon! Say it one more time!
Huang: The way its meant to be played.
Nvidia fans: Never gets old.
Previously it was quite apparent that MS gonna announce first and Sony'll follow later.
But now ...
who knows ...
I am longing for that UI demo video and the hardware teardown.
"Every avenue we pursued, there was some form of blocker and those blockers meant that at least one group of players ended up being left out of the upgrade for various reasons. As of today, we can’t offer an upgrade to everyone, and leaving any one group out feels unfair."
aka, nup ... we want some more moolah
What a heap of bollocks.
@sprinterboy
"... as it sounds like"
I dunno if he's hinting at that. And he meant the Suicide Squad. He came to Gotham Knight later.
But it seems he's also guessing like everybody else.
