So, will this be the main attraction for the August 6 State of Play?
I guess there are two Sony events for August.
The new Elite is a good controller.
But the original Elite had quality issues.
3rd party PS4 and updates on already announced 3rd party PS5 titles.
Nothing on hardware front.
Hmm ... not the kind of State of Play the rumors were indicating.
Still ... a new State of Play is always cool to have.
Yea ... completely agreeable.
The new controller will always come bundled with the console. Every user, new or existing will fully experience the plethora of Dualsense features.
But also implementing a DualShock back-compatibility mode helps a lot for existing PS4 users.
Yea that's during cross-gen transition.
What about pure next-gen multi-plat titles?
post-August show?
It would've been cool, if the PS5 titles had an alternate feature for playing them with Dualshock 4. Like disabling the adaptive triggers input and replacing haptic feedback with rumble.
I know this means it'll defeat the whole purpose but this also does mean I can keep the Dualshock 4 as a cheap backup. Or for local couch-split-screen multiplayer.
Ubi,
Stop spamming us with these RPG-ridden AC titles.
Following next-gen, give us a proper Prince of Persia Reboot and Assassin's Creed Reboot (original non-RPG style).
And nobody wants these every year. These are not sports titles and has no online component.
Take time and polish. Release them with 3-4 years development cycle.
Yea, story-wise, it served that purpose.
But gameplay wise it was kinda weak. Not as challenging as the Trilogy.
A metroidvania PoP with proper production values?
Not bad for a resurrection of the franchise.
Maybe follow that with a gorgeous next-gen Remake of Sands of Time?
...
And after that a Souls-esque PoP Reboot? ... eh, maybe I am thinking too much.
They better announce a new Quake at the QuakeCon.
I think the The Last of Us Pt. 1 Remastered and Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection has a better chance coming to PC, if any.
Ready at Dawn are now acquired by Facebook and they also showcased Order 1886 running on a PC @ 60fps. So there's that.
Bloodborne and Persona 5? Well we have to wait and see ...
Its a joke, mate.
Its a joke, mate.
"What’s Really Happening With Star Citizen?"
Watch Ahoy's documentary on Quake.
(RetroAhoy: Quake, 2.2mil views)
Considered best on YouTube.
Quake I was/is just fabulous and spectacular. Too Gothic and atmospheric for its time. Brutal and uncanny.
Quake II and latter were just different. Not actually Quake. Although Quake is actually remembered for III: Arena. *sigh*
Long forgotten now. Its all GaaS now.
I read they're also considering launching this one on streaming platforms.
So ... no KOTOR, Silent Hills 2, Mass Effect 2 or RDR1 fans?
Well this news got debunked very quickly ...
