Maybe they can do biannual release?
1st year the base game, 2nd year the update. Then repeat.
No problem, mate. Cheers!
Exactly. Pretty good deal for the fans.
Imagine playing this on an OLED.
You'll never forget all those vibrant colors.
EA's re-releasing FIFA 19 as FIFA 21, that too publicly admitting and charging 50 bones.
Nothing to do with the existing hardware.
Exactly!
RT and the physically based rendering quality needs a touch improvement.
But other than that, it looks pretty solid.
That kinda looked like Galactus.
Still a bit confused with the split-screen, fixed camera angle approach, rather than Bloober's traditional FPS style.
I was expecting an over-the-shoulder perspective actually.
Higher Instructions per cycle than previous gen.
More efficient.
Beats out Intel. But still skeptical regarding the comparison with infamous Core i9 10900K.
Wait for 3rd party benchmarks.
@SullysCigar,
Why do guys come to such bizarre conclusions?
My comment was alluding to his "Uhh it's a laptop review site lol," remark. Nothing more.
Many have been referring that site long before YouTube 'influencers' popularity. Come to think of it, both Youtube and notebookcheck started in the same year.
Notebook check was and still is the de facto go to for many people's comprehensive laptop reviews and subsequent other hardwa...
Nvidia, just get back one RTX3080 from an 'influencer' and lend it to Larian.
Notebookcheck.net is a German website and they're very reputed.
They've been around for a while and carryout very rigorous review processes.
They know a thing about hardware.
Ray tracing is a rendering technique.
RT can produce indirect lighting, soft shadows, depth of field, motion blur, and ambient occlusion.
@purple101
Power supply are always chosen with headroom.
So 100% pull should be a rarity for both devices.
Why?
I always use the webstore for all platforms. Its much much more convenient.
Wishlist will go away too? * hmpf *
"it cannot be directly applied to consoles due to their highly custom cooling solutions which may do things like allow multiple components to share the same heat sink, ect."
They took the canister Mac Pro approach sort of. Didn't work out for the Mac coz it limited the upgradability.
But this is a console. Basically a mini-x86 system with just storage upgradability, everything else soldered directly to the mainboard(s).
But the basic knowledge of PC sy...
So it managed to beat out Turing's best and came close to Ampere's 3080.
Pricing needs to be sub-650. But .... this is no Radeon VII vs 2080 anymore.
There's more to raw power comparison now.
What's their answer to Tensor cores and RT cores?
20 more days.
Richard of DigitalFoundry laughed it off, saying the alleged claims are just getting derived from the 315watts power requirement. FUD.
But in reality people have actually touched the console while under load and hence suspected the possibility of temp spike.
That clip made my day.
Such a cool edit.
