They improved the visuals! That's really great.
Arc Raiders is amazing (since the early betas it got me hooked) .... but maybe this moody revamped Marathon can coexist in the same extraction space?
Was expecting a partner software announcement from Valve as well, to act as the rare Valve catalyst driving interest in their new hardware.
@andy85
Its for folks who are usually on consoles but want a PC based alternative that's more console-like but also not having a handheld form factor/restriction.
Series X/2
... and he broke into the attic again and got his drums back.
no MP till Halo 7, as per leak
Don't know if it'll release parallelly with Halo 2R or Halo 3R or totally after the trilogy of remakes.
oh ... the Abandoned!
Either launch by Oct'26 or after Mar'27 .... nothing in between
Am actually happy,
The whole first 3/4th the year, publishers/devs can relax ... we'll get promising games of 2026 getting the attentions those deserve. (from Crimson Desert, Dawnwalker to Wolverine, Saros to E-day, Fable etc)
Plus delay means more polish anyway and post GTA VI period is something to think about as well: many games would've just been ignored in its launch aftermath. So late Nov 2026 is great! People can talk all December and January ... and gradually...
Yea agree ... the sigh of relief across the industry except the November bunch.
Acti-Blizz now breathing down IW's neck:
"We shipping a month before, aiight?"
Shaky fingers tapping,
Sweat dropping ....
Submit button already pressed.
.... still loading.
"c'mon, c'mon, c'mon .... "
OR ...
maybe remake the first one and also expand it abit ?
OR ...
remake the first one but 1:1, very minimal changes ~ QoL changes that are necessary or beneficial
New rumor dropped that Halo 7 is indeed in development
Coz they're now remaking the first 3 as Trilogy Remake with proper stylistic continuation (big benefiter here is Halo 3, although the OG still looks artistically superb)
~ am guessing they 'might' retcon 4 and 5
Have been interested in this since its reveal
@crazyCoconuts
they sorta were getting better at it, after Series X launch .... but then they got greedy after the BGS deal
The team's ex-Bioware actually.
MS buying Acti Blizz will be the pinacle of MS blunder.
Other previous blunders ~ they could've survived from that even after compounded.
But that sale from Kotick is what's ruining and what will ruin Xbox. (We lost so many interesting 1st/2nd party games, coz lack of funds after that 68Billion Call of Duty purchase).
Till even the Bethesda deal all seemed fine.
