I would even pay 80 bucks for an UE5 based more immersive Days Gone 2 .... or even a new Syphon Filter.
But nah .... rather lay off staff & re-remasters Days Gone i.e Days Gone Reloaded.

They coulda started with Halo 3 remake ... I know Halo CE remaster was not proper with the art style but still, remaking after a remaster seems dull, when Halo 3 and Reach have started to show some age.

Its gonna be from Infinity Ward. And they're to introduce the next IW engine for current-gen only. Likely similar visual overhaul to CoD they did with MW'19. It was a big leap from previous CoDs to MW.
It'll stay interesting for next few years since next-gen will arrive by 2027, after which it'll again get boring.
This Black Ops 7 will still use the existing IW engine and will still...
Yea .... the first half of the trailer had me thinking Quantum Break 2 .... and not the annual CoD and that too not the mainline one but rather the mini-sequel not unlike MWIII.
But Clockwork Revolution is even less established than Outer Worlds IP and that too from inXile.

Should've chosen Gears E-Day, Fable or CoD for that ... Outer Worlds 2 is not the best choice for 'Their First $80 Game', imho.
Ok, just wanna say ... dont hype Xbox showcase just to fill in half of the show with live-service games' season/patch updates. Keep ESO, Fallout 76, Sea of Thieves etc contents in a pre-show ... I'd rather see more promising indie games, than live service update trailers.
Other than that ... the show was fine? Finally some updates from inXile and Double Fine.
But the end '1 more thing' was the annual CoD? Weird choice ... Could've kept Clockwork or Silkso...
ok maybe they effed up ... maybe there was a last minute change of plans ... happens ... but nothing to review bomb their other game, The Finals.
Both are excellent games. And the community is just over reacting to a minute digital countdown that wasn't even publicly revealed, proper.
The trailer was/is just elite-tier ... absolutely amazing
After years of concept clips .... the final product looks soo good ... ngl, this gave RE7.5 vibes matching not just the tone but the polish as well.

You are forgetting its a handheld.
And even with delayed launch with older specs, the Switch 2 is matching Series S with upscaling is no small feat. And Series S runs same games as PS5, albeit at reduced res and frames.

I've read the opposite in leaks/rumors ... that it is a change in gameplay tone (reinvention of the franchise) but it'll be less action and more survival oriented and in 3rd person perspective.
I'd rather add, Xbox One X can be used as a good metric to gauge if a said system is more powerful than last gen.
