Now my curiosity is ... can the final Witcher 4 build look better than Wukong, both running on a high end PC.
Obvious answer for now would be a solid 'yes' but by how much?
Wukong looks pretty jaw dropping on PC already but it too faced a slight visual downgrade compared to the initial reveal (remember the devs had to make a follow up video showing that its an actual early build of a game played real time and not a fake rendered gameplay video coz it looked that goo...
The new current-gen only IW engine is what's most interesting to me, from a technical stand point ... dont much care about CoD MP nowadays but I do like IW's tech.
The repeated usage of the cross-gen CoD engine is just too boring in 2025.
@rob, dude ... just wanna say 450nits aint bad, especially for a portable LCD.
dont compare to modern phones, coz those have mostly gone OLED route and has been the most crucial component of that industry that advances at break neck speed.
I agree Switch 2 should've shipped with OLED but 450nits is still acceptable ... and then again its easy to speculate, they'll ship a Lite and an OLED model later.
"60 to 120 is negligible" .... the discussion should've ended there
(medical condition causing perception issue might get an exception)
UE5? stable perf? from 'PC'Guide dot com?
owkayyyy ....
Come to the dark side of PC gaming, young Padawan.
We have foregone plastic media for a long time, and we have more cookies to offer newcomers.
Simpler life .... more delicious cookies to enjoy.
Absolutely happy it didn't get cancelled ... and was my highlight from the SoP along with 007 but ...
Was expecting something more unique. Maybe the trailer didn't do it justice. But to me this appeared abit generic?
The initial reveal trailer gave me some unique vibes and with so many years in development, I thought there should be more to it. Maybe there is more to it. Will wait n see.
nah ... gonna get pared back
The company did issue a warning, that these copies are without crucial day 1 patches and will run into issues.
Not saying the game's gonna be good, just stating a fact.
To me it looks unique.
Given Hitman III, and how good it looks and still was a cross gen game, they could've went for the more photo realistic look easily since this 007 game is current gen only. But it could've looked generic among the recent swarm of UE5 based games with pre built photo scanned assets.
This just have a deliberate unique touch that only dedicated veteran team can offer with experienced artists/designers. And couple that with hallmark IOI gameplay, i...
There's a big chance the new Bond under the new leadership be Cavill and with the new MI series being so Bond-esque yet at the same time so futuristic, the new Bond story/theme might target classics era like 60s/70s to appear unique.
Supposed to get long term post launch support .... guess that's becoming a big question mark now
I was just happy to see Pragmata at last, along with the 007 reveal and more of Silent Hill F.
Was expecting something from Wolverine ... but anyways, was not a bad SoP. Nioh 3 was a surprise as well.
Yea, same here.
Which 2.5D tho?
I think its a top down perspective game.
FYI, CDPR later clarified ... this is just tech demo ... not representative of final gameplay with the whole open world loaded. Its just a vertical slice of what's possible with limited world background.
On top of Yotei, betting on something Wolverine and an update on Marathon.
And maybe Lego Horizon Switch 2 update? dunno ...
40 Minute+?!
hot damn
E3 started early with SoP.
Hope we get some 1st party goodness at the end as well.
OD?
Yea, I liked it, RE9, Mortal Shell 2, ILL, Atomic Heart 2 etc .... and other trailer updates ... I'd say it wasn't bad.
