dayuum!
Honestly ... at this point ... they shouldn't rush it ... the more they delay it a bit more, more they'll distance it from the troubled launch.
A Q1 2022 re-launch vs Q4 won't make much of a difference in terms of players' patience.
But a steady quality controlled relaunch might work wonders for them and might dispel the whole debacle all together.
Hint of offroad gameplay's there's in the clip as well ...
I think they'll reserve that for the proper PSVR2 event.
While I do experiment with cockpit view in most racing games ... but I primarily prefer chase cam for vehicular games. Even on Assetto Corsa.
.
Though I'll say, Ride 4's visor view seems really engaging.
A third person camera gameplay, maybe?
Yea ... their heavily modified UE3 build for MK11 looks stunning!
Funny thing ... even Batman Arkham Knight is based off of a heavily modified UE3. Its not UE4.
Sometimes dev modify an engine so much ... it barely resembles the original one.
CoD's engine is the best example here. Started off as idtech III (Quake III)
Hope they at least upgrade to Unreal Engine 4 this time.
They are one of the longest user of Unreal Engine 3 till MK11.
NSS.
And Skull & Bones as well as SoT Remake are not even confirmed for 2022.
I doubt Ryse 2 will happen ... but I do want a single-player game based off of the Hunt Showdown world.
Hunt is still amazing.
And kinda funny that the upcoming CoD MW'22 is rumored to feature a Hunt-like mode as well.
I know ... hence the Crossed fingers.
Since they always push the bar for visuals, I deliberately typed Path-tracing instead of RT.
Crysis 3 still looks soo good!
Awesome, news!
CryEngine 6, lets go! Path tracing lets go! 🤞
Never thought I'd see Chernobylite in some one's top 2021 list.
" out of the blue "
And so many upcoming Star Wars projects!
Beyond the Lego Skywalker Saga ... we have the KOTOR remake, Star Wars Eclipse, Ubisoft Massive's Star Wars game and now these three. As well as the long rumor of a Mandalorian game (Respawn's FPS?).
A Third Person, First Person & RTS Star Wars Game? All via Respawn?
Dayuum!
Bungie going Sony was one of the last thing I imagined.
