The recent Intel XeSS 'exclusive' integration leak is the worrying part.
Many are speculating the DC edition might feature XeSS exclusively instead of DLSS like in the base PC game.
Funny thing is ... now other big publishers are now trying to replicate the Hunt:Showdown & Tarkov's gameplay loop.
After they've exhausted the Battle Royale formula.
EA tried with BF2042 (tacked on, not fleshed out), Ubisoft trying with Ghost Recon Frontline and reportedly Activision with CoD MW'22 (getting purposefully built from ground up).
RE is one of the best engine out their in terms of multi-plat optimization and future-proof feature sets.
Even beating out of MW'19 engine as well as to some degree idTech 7.
Its pretty scalable too ... running on Switch (Monster Hunter Rise)
Only one thing left to see is how good it can render a vast open world whilst targeting RE8 or even better visuals.

Irrational Games shouldn't have been closed. Instead Levine could've downsized Irrational itself & kept it running with a smaller team & moved the extra devs & artists to the new Cloud Chamber Studio.
As much as we few like the first one, Singularity 2 ain't happening.

Astro's Playroom can played on PS4 via Remote Play using DS4.
Hence I pointed it out in early 2021 in N4G comment section, & added ... DS4 and DSense should be forward and backward compatible respectively. And as usual ... got downvoted.
