Brings back the back memories, mate.
Visuals look slightly better version of the current gen RE Village. Which is not a bad thing. REVIII was/is one of the best looking games. But its telling that both the projects ran parallel and utilizes the same version of the RE engine.
And the team's still got a year to improve and perfect and make this Remake a bit better than what was shown.
...
But I'll still say, Capcom should've gone with the Code Ve...

"Sony might port some IPs to PC but not major ones like Spider-Man" ~ an old comment, few months ago.

Wouldn't mind an isometric Mass Effect spin-off CRPG, actually.
As for Fallout? A 'Fallout x Wasteland' spin-off would be something special.
Fallout is actually the spiritual successor to the original Wasteland. Both were created by Interplay.
And now ex-Interplay devs are continuing Wasteland series at inXile.
And other ex-Interplay devs are at Obsidian (previously worked on Fallout New Vegas)
A collab would be great.

People want Code Veronica Remake ... but Capcom instead is doing RE4 Remake.
RE4 was re-released for 8th gen consoles and is back-compat with 9th gen.
You still got time Capcom.

Remember Me?
Capcom has the license right?
And even if Dont Nod has plans for a sequel, Capcom isn't interested in the franchise anymore.
So its either gonna be Capcom selling the IP to Dont Nod for the sequel or if a Remake is planned later (also unlikely), it'll be handled by Capcom's internal team using their excellent RE engine.

Its an initial alpha version ... its got long ways to go ... depends how much dev support it'll get ... if the support is anything close to the RPCS3 team support, then there's hope for this project in the future.

I consider RTCW as one of the best FPS campaigns made. The mood, the pacing was just really good, especially for an early 2000s PC game. And it was pretty difficult too.

I had high hopes for Wolf 2009 especially after RTCW and Enemy Territory. And also because none other than Raven was developing it.
But they couldn't quite hit the mark. It turned out okayish. But after RTCW, it seemed pretty underwhelming as a sequel.

RTCW is wayy better than New Colossus.
RTCW should get the 1st spot but I'll settle for a 2nd spot for RTCW in order avoid unneeded quarrel with late 2000s new gamers - and this is coming from an late 90s, early 2000s FPS lover. (RTCW is one of the best single player FPS eve made and one of my fav game)
