Good to know, AC Hexe won't be an RPG. “A very different type of Assassin’s Creed game”, they said.
Looks like AC Hexe is the more interesting one of the two.
AC Project Red, however, will still be an AC RPG.
Was not expecting Mirage to be cross-gen but I guess they'll be reusing the Valhalla's version of anvil engine and hence decided to keep the last-gen support.
There's another one, AC Project Hexe. Which was described as “a very different type of Assassin’s Creed game”.
[seems like they'll be experimenting some stuffs in that game]
(Its rumored to be set amongst the witch trials of the Holy Roman Empire ~ Jason Schreier).
LOL. Pre-order and collector's edition without showing a bit of gameplay?
smh

Iron Galaxy is responsible for some of the jankiest PC ports like Arkham Knight.
well ... unlike the Spiderman port, the Uncharted port is not being handled by Nixxes but by the infamous Iron Galaxy.
I'd say keep expectations low.
I am not comparing it to CP2077. I used cyberpunk as a verb.
My statement was, STALKER 1 was enjoyable for its quirkiness. Something we accepted back then and then enjoyed after wards, circa 2007~2010s on PC.
In today's landscape, (post Cyberpunk era) the (if) launch bugs won't bode well with this gen's new gaming audience. GSC's comeback might not be as fruitful as it should be, hence I said to release when ready.
Heck, people here complaining about...
That's still a higher bar than many game's target state during launch, even after the whole cyberpunk fiasco.
And as I have said in the earlier Stalker 2 article, "Even if the game launches with few few bugs on release, I'll still support it just for the hardworking folks behind this."
I don't want GSC's reputation to get tainted just for few launch bugs. Let them comeback properly.
Release when ready. Don't cyberpunk it.
STALKER 1 was infamous for its .... cheekybreekyness ... but today's gamers and game journos will just write it off and move on to the next Fortnite clone, if they get irked by any launch bugs.
Just release when the quality seems acceptable.
^ this.
BFV had much potential. The way they were moving with the updates, covering each theatre after another was really well thought out. We didn't even get to the substantial Soviets or the Eastern Fronts part.
But alas, people screamed, "where's modern battlefield?" and the initial shaky launch of BF:V didn't help either.
So ... you guys got your "modern" BF. Hope you "enjoy".
BF:V still looks, plays awesome to ...
Even if the game launches with few few bugs on release, I'll still support it just for the hardworking folks behind this.

Ubisoft plans to announce several Assassin's Creed games including AC Mirage(2023) on Saturday, including the two main games in the AC Infinity Project(2024).
One is Project Red(2024), set in Japan, and other is Project Neo/Hexe(2026), set amongst the witch trials of the Holy Roman Empire.
Delay it further if required, just don't cyberpunk it
Please be good
CD Projekt expects its new Witcher saga to include ‘more than one game’ and that Witcher 3’s new-gen release is ‘on track’ for late 2022.
Well I was rooting for Remedy to get picked for a Silent Hill spin-off project, before Remedy announced multitude of new projects of their own (Alan Wake II, Max Payne Remakes). They were perfect but I guess Remedy is off the list.
Other than that, any capable studio who has never handled horror genre but are keen on doing so can be considered as well. (similar to how Kojima switched from MGS to SHs)
Cory Barlog himself tweeted, he is interested in remaking SH1.
Hoping that they're taking their time to make it good and presentable.
Also, hoping they scrap the last-gen versions (like Gotham Knights) and make the game technically exclusive to current-gen systems.
