Because he's an extremely avid gamer who cares about Xbox. He is director of programming. I used to not like him, but I started seeing him for the gamer he was. Dude's a higher level on Halo 5 than me and I'm playing it non stop

They could have, I think adding a few missions before the game started and maybe 1 or 2 near the end would have helped flesh out the plot a bit and make it seem less rushed/more understandable, but overall I thought it was a great story tbh. Although I wish we got to play as Chief more, the disparity felt natural in relation to the plot. I don't actually agree with Tomb raider deal, I know MS engineers are helping them making it look better and they are publishing, but generally I don't like any timed deals unless it helps the game in some way. The show was a 7 or 8. It was a pretty gruesome portrayal of the origins of Blue team and the Spartans. Wasn't great but imo, far above a 3. They said from the start this ties into Halo 5. It used the book fall of reach to detail their origins. The show was never about showing the actual fall of reach, as Blue team gets separated a lot in that. This was a Halo 5 tie-in and I think the reviewer didn't really grasp that.
It's a dumb idea to sign a timed exclusivity deal with anyone who isn't 100% helping dev the game/the game wouldn't release without them (e.g No Man's Sky, Tomb Raider)

Instead of arguing in the comments, can't you all just accept this is the norm now because yes, PS4 has more raw power for graphics and such, but no, the difference is so negligible it wouldn't affect your experience while playing more than, say, what UI or controller you're using. Play it on the console you like to play games on the most, that simple, fanboys on both sides just stop being bitter and petty.
I like it because it requires you to be tactical. I always pick off the people going towards the boss and let my team take care of him. Otherwise you'd get 2 teams just hiding in separate caves shooting him doing nothing. It's also a really good way to keep players motivated. I've come from 500 behind to winning before because of bosses, otherwise both teams would get near equal points from the boss and the losing team continues to be hopeless.
