Judging from the anti-stance of a few comments from people around here, you can tell how many actually READ the TOS/TOA...
I actually just looked at the site not too long ago, and had the same options. However checking back on it 2 hours later it was back to normal.
So someone was screwing up on the website end.
@Fragger2k8
I played it for 7 years.
I can list quite a few things to show:
1) Community (This can be said for any mmo), but my god it's just the general census of the population are greedy punks)
2)Just because there's tons of content does not mean it's not monotonous. You say tons of hours. Of what exactly? The crafting? The questing? It's nothing notable that one can describe from that.
3) The serio...
It isn't $150 brilliant however. Nor was Virtual Boy, except that was $180. They're overpricing something that shouldn't be overpriced.
The concept behind it is nice, but it just seems like they're rushing to try and take a chunk of the "casual" field just as much as Sony is, where as Nintendo is just sitting in the back going "suckers", and then pull out 3DS to sparkle even more across other peoples' eyes.
this article was dead to me.
I know. But I mean jeez. That's a low to market essentially DLC for an updated game in which you would think the character would be in there considering the whole purpose was to have an update on the game and more characters.
It would almost be like as if SSF4 advertised with Juri on it, only to find out she's paid DLC stuff.
It's not a necessity to have her, but it's a slightly false lead. False in the sense that you have to pay even more to...
@branchedout
Please. There's at least 1 writers on that site which is just Anti-Sony biased. He can't even report on anything Sony without some half-assed jerk of a comment. Like even the most positive situation, and he ropes it around to be negative.
If you don't know who I'm referring to, it's Luke Plunkett
You show her off in some of your marketing.
Hell you even have her on posters at the time for the game, and in trailers....AND SHE'S DLC?
SERIOUSLY?!...What went through their minds on this?
Thank you so much for that bit of information. That cleared up a lot on my mind about this. From what they state, there's still the idea of a toolset, just that they don't have it exactly all planned out at the moment, but it seems that they are intent on releasing one.
Unfortunately the fire has spread already.
@MisterNiwa
I haven't heard more of a BS statement if I ever heard one.
It's even more scary that people even agreed to what you said, instead of actually commenting.
@hellmetal789
So if you want to have the full MP experience we need to shell out ~$140?
And they stated they'll be full games, not expansions, which means chance are they'll be $60, considering the amount of money they spent and are still spending on the production values.
Granted these pirates got what they deserve for not only pirating the game, but also not even checking behind themselves.
Also I find it funny tha...
The better question is why did they have this slip-up happen, when in the past if you tried to redeem anything unavailable, it would just say it's not available, not "Oops you messed up with this code, wait for another".
"I liked WKC, the only improvement is that you can get your own Knight. "
And the alteration/changes on the battle system, along with a few other things. ಠ_ಠ
The emulators of Dreamcast and PS2 are still somewhat unstable on most PCs. Hell even the Wii emulator has some issues on most PCs.
Just because a game sells a lot doesn't necessarily meant it was good. How many of those people that have the sales still have the game or still play it?
The funny thing is that their quality dropped so far going from Atari to Nes. The games Super Pitfall and Ghostbusters come to mind. Granted I know they weren't entirely made from Activision, as they were translated and all, but the quality of those games were not only buggy, but lazy.
It's harder to forgive for past mistakes, than to be optimistic and move on.
Let's wait another 5 and then people can cheer. :p
@4D
You're just asking for trouble if you just instigate like that.
Blitz that doesn't excuse the system being messed up, nor is encouraging it along the way.
