I find it funny how those anti-gamestop, WHILE yes they are greedy completely, never questioned why developers didn't have a problem before when Funcoland and EBGames were on the market, but now when it's all 1 big corporation they suddenly NOW have a problem?
@ChronoJoe
I'm assuming you didn't take into consideration of what I posted.
Just because it's legit does not mean it's good.
Plus given with specific sets within games, you ever hear of spawn camping? That doesn't mean you suck, that means the person is abusing a tech within the game, and calling it "skill".
What the article notes, is people camped by 'ill-means".
"Microsoft : “No game is bigger than Halo”"
Tell that to Mario and Pokemon.
"kinect to bring more none gamers to the 360. "
It's already bad enough that the generation of gaming today has them. It's one thing when there's games that you can pick up and play for a short time that has some amount of depth.
It's another when companies ABUSE that and pull out crap left and right just to get a quick buck from the ill-informed.
I don't understand what the fuss is all about from people here. Installing can HELP a game. In the case of Reach I actually welcome an install choice.
And before people go on about PS3 games having mandatory install....NOT EVERY GAME HAS THAT.
More than likely along the lines of say a video editor(though that's now on there), overlay music player, etc.
See this is something I don't mind. If it allows a better movie player, or allows me to overlay custom soundtracks over any game, then we're getting somewhere.
If it's to play "backup games", then no.
You're going at the wrong point at the wrong time. If you haven't realized a lot of the media frowns upon gaming for the most part. The fact that he actually did well under pressure was a good thing for anyone.
I think most of these articles are confusing "demos" for demos.
In the situation of Case 0, yes it's a "demo", as in a demonstration of what is to be in the actual game, but it's not a "demo" in the sense that it's part of the game. It's a prequel DLC of the game basically. Not part of the game itself.
You're completely off topic as far as the article is. Why did you even comment again?
I hear ya. =X
@weaksauce
That's not a good example that you're using. People here CONSIDER Plants vs Zombies a game. What people are complaining at it having an app of say a random bowling game, or something along the lines of farmville. They're games, but they're designed essentially to solely get money out of you.
Yes they're games, but it's kinda hard-pressed to compare the quality of a game that takes about 2 years to make vs a game that can t...
Oh what the hell...they get inflatable swords and all we get is in-game armor? :(
"I'll give you the HDD, it should of been standard. But I do prefer it being easily removable compared to the PS3s."
I don't want to jump in on this whole thing, but the PS3's HDD can be removed easily. Not AS easy as the 360 HDD, cause you can just pop it out, but at the same time you are restricted to MS's cornholed plan of forcing you to only get their HDDs instead of replacing it with any sized HDD for the PS3 which you can order cheaply on place...
Judging from your comments Whitey2k, it seems like you're biased heavily against anything MS-wise.
"If you can afford to buy another PS3 why not just buy games and forget all this garbage"
You're a mad man. No one uses logic on the net.
Bungie was on a contract and broke away...
@duplissi
Lies and slander!
But in all seriousness though I'm on the side for homebrew, but sadly it's not going to be the case within this situation. I've already had my hand in working on homebrew for PSP, but I'm not going the method that they're doing with this. I'd rather prefer for Sony to do something in the ways of how XNA is on Live.
I'm surprised no one mentioned Bruce Lee
Also. @kasasensei. There IS such thing as luck in EVERYTHING. It's how much of it that makes the difference.
Also lol @ the random agree/disagree line going down this area of comments.
