um another note, why is the original xbox higher on the graph then the wii. Wouldn't the value be higher for a game system that developers are actually making games for?
GRAW2 is an above average military FPS, storyline and dialog are very generic. But because you have complete control over your squad you actually start caring what happens to them.
Overall a great addition to the PS3 library unless ubi screws the port.
I have no doubt GT5 will sell and be better reviewed the PGR4, but both game series are highly praised so basically comes down to personal choice .
yeah the graph does suck... I can design a better graph while half asleep, because I've actually designed a better graph while half asleep. Ah deadlines
Unlike some people when a good game goes multi-platform I am pleased. It's a bigger audience for the developer and it allows more people to enjoy the game. Isn't that the whole point of media to entertain the masses and not a select few.
The new GTA game actually looks pretty good, and this is from someone who didn't really enjoy the last few GTA games due to bad aiming system.
I am also glad that they created a new character instead of going urban/ghetto look.
jeez take one rumour article about the x360 and watch PS3 fanboys write the same old generic comments they write in every article.
Actually that might be a good idea, keep approving the x360 rumour stories and keep the PS3 fanboys away from the good articles. So when I want to read something about Halo 3 the first thing that comes up is not a 12 year old's comment on how Halo 3 is gay.
Supporting Piracy I see.
As for Quality it depends on your preference. If you prefer western games then xbox 360's line up has the Quality. If you prefer japanese games then PS3 has the Quality you want. Just because you don't like a certain genre doesn't mean that genre is crap.
I don't think Blue Dragon is mediocre (it would have gotten worse reviews a 6 for Edge magazine is decent score) it just looks very generic. Sort of like 80% of the JPRGs that come from Japan.
Hour of Victory was complete crap though, I couldn't get past the first lvl before I returned the game to blockbuster. It was the first FPS that I've played in awhile were the bullets felt slow.
Odd that there are discussions on 2 games that weren't even reviewed by Play (Lair & Bioshock).
I also find it amusing that for some people when a PS3 game get's a bad review (ie Lair) it's given the benefit of a doubt but when a x360 game get's a bad review (ie Blue Dragon) the game is a total disaster.
Whoooop I agree completely with sh!t happens on both sides. I've seen many threads about a PS3 game ruined due to xbox360 fanboys. Fanboys in general suck. ...
Could have been that they just they liked Blue Dragon more then EGM
why wouldn't they do it? I am sure Sony has advance plans to do it as well
er don't think it that is even possible unless your uncle's x360 games came on a rewritable disc and dvd burner
What does Bioshock have to do with Lair?
75% is not a bad score. Just means that Lair is going to have a group of people that love the game and a group of people that are really going to hate it.
Personally I am going to rent it and give it a try. Honesty I will probably hate it since I wasn't a fan of Rogue Squadron series.
God forbid a racing games comes out on more then one disk (remember Gran Turismo on the PS anyone)
I know a giant conspiracy from MS started way back in 2006 when Bioshock received many "Game of E3" rewards
I agree, rental only for me. Honesty I never thought Lair would be my cup of tea. I hated Rogue Squadron series on the Gamecube, I was just hoping that Factor 5 would learn from their mistakes.
oh well every system has it's limitations, one of jobs of the developer is to deal with it
Interesting I don't think Bioshock will sell any systems in Japan, but Japanese gamers that like western games will be pleased.
