Well thanks for enabling EA by saying it's ok to continue releasing low quality products because you'll give them money on a fixed schedule anyway. Why bother trying when people can only defend the value based on a sticker price at the store? Who cares if games like Battlefront are missing staple features?
Who the heck gives money to EA in the first place? In fact, who the heck gives money to the king of Jews every month?
But what you're saying is that the new one is somehow deeper than the older ones which is not true by any means. The major complaint that I've seen is that the game lacks depth and feels very shallow due to the fact that everyone is doing the same thing. Removing rolling, the class system, and putting everything else behind token pick ups is not deep, nor does it feel satisfying getting out of the AT-ST to find out it blows up when you do. All they needed to do was find a middle groun...
Yeah lets openly allow bad overbudgeted games to saturate the market and openly prove that awful products sell by not telling anyone about it. Great game plan.
No matter how many modes or maps are in the final release the gameplay is not satifying in this installment at all and the power-up tokens just add more fuel to the fire. Theres a list of problems the basic game structure suffers from and its something more content won't fix.
I like everyones just now waking up to $50 season pass crap 3 years after Battlefield 3 did it. Then CoD did it and now this is doing it.
Halo 4s campaign wasnt garbage for the length.
It was garbage because it was an endless shootout against an endless supply of annoying teleport happy metroid prime enemies, the final boss was a qte, and the lesser things like having cheif go out of character many times, covenant suddenly go back to wartwart, killing a staple character in the first release of a new trilogy, and the removal of the ambient moments.
The people who think Halo 4 had the best campai...
If you want anything significant like actual classes and the token system removed you're gonna have to wait till the sequel rolls around in 2 years. This beta is just for giving feedback on balancing and stress tests. Anything like removing or changing whole game systems would require 3-6 months of additional work at least and by that point it's too costly because interest will have sunk down. At that point I imagine the sequel will have been worked on for that time-frame and economic...
Insecurity runs rampant around games designed with sex around them
Before this game had any reveal footage I knew the gamplay would just be a battlefield reskin. Now that the beta is out, ironically I wish they had done just that. It feels like they were halfway to making it feel like battlefield but then stopped. The game relies too heavily on lone wolfing and you're forced to doing the same thing as everyone else on your team. The old battlefronts had a focus on teamwork and gave you the tools and abilities to support them that didn't involve killi...
The problem is since there are no classes it means everyone is doing the same thing in terms of playstyle.
In battlefield you dont have to rush to the objective and arm it if you don't want to, because you can choose between giving ammo, medkits, using vehicles, spotting targets for teammates, using the MAV, setting up defenses, etc.
In Battlefront you're forced to play the same as everyone due to the lack of choice in playstyles. There are no real di...
@Unwanted
Well I can see from this view point that you must like every game trying to become the same thing. Problem is that the playerbase that they are pandering to arent consistent like the actual battlefront players or any players for that matter. Based on history the order is, game alienates old fans, old fans don't buy it, new fans get bored of it quickly, playerbase drops to low numbers till a sequel comes out. The old fans are the people that got the new fans inte...
Don't forget how huge the HUD icons are, the boost meter takes up the bottom half of the screen. The GUI itself even going into the main menu is giant boxes that take up the whole screen.
I can tell from this point theres only going to be a small handful of heroes to play as given the fact they've only announced 3 in 6 months, I expect 5 or 6 total.
Facial models belong in a PS2 game ironically. They don't move and are completely static textures....
How do you objectify a CG model when it is already an object?
Kotaku and a dozen other sites do the american cultural stance of hating sex and celebrating violence and gore. If a site that deals with gaming coverage ever wants to be taken seriously they need to remove cultural bias and personal agenda from their work code.
The deal was going to end with or without a game being made. Tony got in a fight with activision over this and they let him make the game but they gave him limited time and resources, hence the poor quality of 5. His games are no more after this unless another company is willing to make a contract with him.
Every company you just listed are the most untrustworthy in the field.
Bethesda are the ones who started the horse armor trainride and they announced a season pass with no idea whats in it because they know you'll all buy it.
343 is a puppet under MS and they reuse assests constantly throughout all that "new" content in Halo 4.
Gearbox outsourced all their DLCs and trusting Gearbox is trusting Randy Pitchford who is a crook.
@Shin
Actually since the beta started I noticed they fixed cammys bright yellow eyebrows and generally her facial structure is more feminine now. Just look at this alt face http://imgur.com/qd2v5M5
Then Karin now has the same problem as cammy had when she was revealed with bright neon eyebrows, fat lips, and thin face. They fixed cammy so hopefully the reveal model is just temp or something.
With one bubble and a username dedicated to baiting, means your attention is quickly fading.
Well at least its not yet another god damn Attack on titan theme. Seriously, the store has been plagued with themes of nothing but that since may each week. This One Piece theme is bad still.
