Did you say only? They are not worth that, I'll happily pay £40 for a good ps3/360 game but if I ever considered paying between £5 and £10 for an iphone or ipad game then I think I'd have to slap sense into myself.
I'm not sure that I would mind some references going over my head, I have a decent knowledge anyway. I'm sure that it's like most anime/manga where you just have to find your footing and all of it will eventually make sense. I haven't not finished an anime that I've started(I'm currently powering my way through fairy tail) so I'll definitely get through it.
I don't know why the hell I haven't watched Ghost in the Shell yet as I have it on DVD. This was pretty awesome.

Reviewers will always find faults with games whether it be story, bugs or gameplay so not everything will be top notch. That said I expect between 85 and 91 on metacritic from it.
Of course it won't, there are markets for phones and markets for handheld gaming so I'm not sure why it would damage it.

Can you tell me what about it looks like "more of the same"? I mean obviously they can't massively change the characters about if it's a sequel to XIII, so what else?

There will be improvements to B3s multiplayer from BC2 and people make a well reasoned assumption that it will be better than MW3s because BC2s was so good. In contrast while we have seen vast improvements from MW2s multiplayer, it looks just the same(I don't mean graphically) and a lot of people didn't like that. Why the hell is an article about Gears multiplayer turning into a MW3 B£ debate?
I don't care about any of that crap when playing a game, graphics don't make a game. The game still looks pretty good on consoles from what I've seen and even if it didn't look too good then as long as the game is fun and not to buggy then I'll enjoy the hell out of it.
You need to give this game a chance, you aren't even paying attention to any of the 'massive' improvements that are being made to this game. Do you honestly believe that Square Enix blowing the improvements out of proportion, they aren't, the improvements are pretty clear to see and websites and people are noticing them. If this was any other article, and not one about XIII-2 you would be bubbled down for trolling.
Of course it can. It may not run with the smoothness that a PC can provide but it will undoubtedly run well if they are willing to release it.
It's naive to think that B3 has a chance of beating it, unfortunately being the better game doesn't always mean more sales. COD is a series where you can sit and have a few games for half an hour at a time and that's why so many millions flock to it. I'm frankly confused by the disagrees that I have above as COD sells best on the 360 and will undoubtedly have many more hours played than Gears by the end of December. Sad but true.
I think everyone knows that Modern Warfare 3 will unfortunately be the most played multiplayer game on the 360 this year.
Neither. I played the FIFA demo and stopped after 1 match because I was bored and I played about 70 (game) minutes of PES before I deleted it because the gameplay was so woefully bad.
