I played the demo...I want to like it but it does feel clunky to me and I can't get over that so I'll pass on it when it releases.
The issue for this game is a build for 2 different Xbox consoles. Microsoft for whatever reason won't have a better build at 60fps for the Series X while the Series S can never hit that mark in this game or the Redfall game. Microsoft sold these series console as the most powerful console ever and hyped 60fps as the standard going forward. Never trust a word from Microsoft.......ever!
There is that little comment from Microsoft a Microsoft exec no less.......he said "60fps will be the standard output, but the architecture allows us to support up to 120fps". Now we know this is a lie one of many Microsoft's tells daily but what's funny about this lie is the architecture doesn't seem to do either of the things he says it will do.. But its Microsoft where their motto is " we really don't care, and it shows!"
Simple explanation.... not many Xbox gamers buy new Games anymore and this game isn't on Xbox Game Pass so not many on Xbox will be playing this and when you don't have a flood of Xbox gamers on the Mic its just a better experience for everyone.
But that's tomorrow, not today or a couple years ago when this game actually released. I'm sure in 10\15yrs from now this game will be playable on whatever the current Sony console of the day is as well.

I'm sure they Microsoft offer was linked to Game Pass and I doubt Square took much time to decide that's not the path they wanna take. Sounds like Microsoft had a good a shot as any on this game to bad for them another platform had a better offer. It'll release on Xbox in a year or so...no harm.
Time to remind the none PlayStation owners.....if you decide not to purchase a PlayStation console and that's perfectly fine nothing wrong with this but this is a choice a choice you've made and by making this choice you've become a second class citizen. Now that you've made your choice you have no say in when PlayStation games come to PC....Stop!! Dont bother with the "I can't afford a anther $500 console'. Right! But you can afford the new XT49k102 Graphics Card...
I'm thinking Factions could be one of those Free to Play games Sony is doing and if its a F2P game it'll be a Multiplatform game and not just limited to PS and PC IMO. Frankly I hope it dose come to all platforms cause them Xbox gamers needs some good games on their platform to.
I don't mean to be negative on this article that "I did not read" but were there gamers thinking Sony was going to release or stealth drop something else in 2023 that was going to be bigger than Spiderman 2?
Why would one post this story and do it while taken a shot at another console.... It took 2 1\2 yrs to reach this number. I would get it if it was the fastest ever to hit that number but its not even close and to say "12wks faster" than another doesn't make this more impressive, maybe more embarrassing.

Microsoft made a conscious decision to release RedFall a $70 gm in a disastrous, unplayable state to fit its own narrative that Microsoft has no clue what they're doing just to gain favor with Regulatory Bodies the CMA, FTC and EU. Then they schedule a interview for Phil Spencer to take a Q&A on the issues of the RedFall release and why Microsoft can't compete and why making great games would make no difference for Microsoft in the gami...

When you absolutely have no clue what your doing there's really no other options to take than the "hands off approach". Xbox has been a brand for about 5yrs less than Sony's PlayStation but Microsoft has been in gaming about 5yrs longer than Sony yet Microsoft Xbox is in such a sad state. Xbox as a brand would be much better off is Microsoft sold Xbox.

There's no evidence that any gamer that's wants to stream Call of Duty and play it in a laggy , unplayable state the CMA do gamers a favor.
I do have a Xbox Series S but I don't rent so no More sub for Game Pass for but even if I did this game was I a said to clunky and not for me.
