My GTX 670 is trembling in fear.
All interesting titles arrive only in 2015. Anyway, the XBone isn't even available in my country, while the PS4 has been around for over 6 months. My ~200 Steam games will tide me over till 2015 when console titles start getting interesting. Then again, the arrival of Nvidia Maxwell GPUs may yet tempt me back to stick with the "Glorious PC Master Race" .... hahaha. Still, I'll need the consoles for Quantum Break, Uncharted, The Order etc.
Hopefully the dropping of the Kinect will indeed free more processing power for the XBone. For me, the only reason to buy the X1 is Quantum Break. Other than that, PS4 has much more interesting titles (Uncharted, The Order 1886, Infamous etc.)
Yet, you'll still not get 1080p60fps.
Looking at GTX 880 and GTX 980.
Same here. My GTX 670 surrendered as well (1080p20fps).
I'll probably buy the XBone (w/o Kinect) for Quantum Break, Dragon Age Inquisition and The Witcher 3.
Not many systems can handle Ubersampling.
My GTX 670 is already shitting in its pants in the face of Witcher 3. Maxwell can't come soon enough - and I'm talking about GM100/200, not some cut-down GM204 GTX 880.
Dynasty Warriors, but better.
I like the humor best. Great sound effects (screaming Intoners) and cloth physics. Sweet characters who are unique. Gameplay feels generic hack & slash, and the animation of the Zero seems too fast for me (can't see the transition between stances clearly). I enjoyed the dark story and atmosphere of Nier and its no surprise I liked Drakengard 3 as well. However, PS3 feels so last gen now. The textures and graphical details are so jarring (I'm too used to 1080p60fps on PC). Thus, I ...
The day QB is released will be the day I buy an XB1.
Not exactly a very interesting write-up, but I appreciate it for being informative.
Steam has converted the Xbox 360 and PS3 gamer in me to PC Gaming. Better visuals was the initial reason to switch, but now the main reasons are (1) cheap, discounted titles and (2) disc-less ease of access to my games. PS4 and Xbone still doesn't have enough new titles to tempt me over. Maybe later. For now, my GTX 670 still can run any upcoming new games for quite a while.
Bound by Flame (10 May), before Dragon Age: Inquisition (October), followed by The Witcher 3 (Feb 2015) and hopefully Mass Effect 4 (late 2015?)
That's my RPG game plan. ;P
I personally like DA2 more than DAO. The personal touch to Hawke is very nice. The female Hawke has very sweet customization options. I enjoyed the encounters of Hawke. Of course, the re-used dungeon rooms suck.
Had my Origin account hacked once. Took me a full month of hassling EA before they let me log in again. Phew! Luckily I don't have many games with them. 99% of my games are on Steam. I feel safer with Steam. Furthermore, Steam allows me to share my games with my family members. Cool!
Woohoo ... imagine single-player (better with multiplayer) games where you can interact with an NPC (or real player's 3D avatar) through VR.
Oculus Rift!
Nvidia 20nm Maxwell can't come soon enough!
I, for one, enjoyed DA2 more than DAO. The character customization in DA2 is much, much better; but sadly Morrigan was missing in DA2.
I love the cool character in Lightning. I enjoyed FF13-1, but hated FF13-2. Am eagerly awaiting Lightning's return in this final episode!
Lightning Returns for me ... to complete the trilogy.
Already pre-ordered both on Steam and Origin. Only missing ingredient is Nividia Maxwell (to max. settings).
